My profession enables me to use my talents to help people maintain their health and achieve a confident smile. As a dentist, I get to know each of my patients as a person, listening to whats important to them. I focus on building trust, and with that comes the understanding that I am here to help and want them to have the wonderful smile they deserve. I know Ive made a difference when patients leave our office smiling and happy.
Over the years, I have taken many continuing dental education courses, which enable me to remain informed of the latest techniques and materials to better serve my patients. My memberships with the Wheaton Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Association, and American Dental Association facilitate my ongoing educational journey.
In addition to my practice, I am also an instructor in the dental hygiene program at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. My volunteer commitments include working at the Chicago Dental Society Foundation Community Clinic performing free dental services for the poor and uninsured in Wheaton.
A native of Wheaton, I currently reside with my wife Lynne and our two pugs. We have been blessed with four children and three grandchildren, all of whom bring us so much joy. When Im not in the office, I can be found spending time with my family, playing a round or two of golf, or taking a stroll around the neighborhood.

My entire family has been going to Dr. Chavez for 25 years. We have always received the best of care. I trust Dr. Chavez and feel confident that his decisions are in the best interest of all his patients, both medically and financially. The hygienist is also great, taking a genuine interest in patients' dental care and education. All and all a great experience!!!

I've been seeing Dr. Chavez for several years now and I have nothing but good experiences in his office. He and his staff do great work and have very accommodating hours (early morning and evening). I would definitely recommend him for your dental needs.
