Dr. Edward Moon Dr. Edward Moon is committed first and foremost to your best interests and how your dental health and smile affect your life. He believes every patient has the right to be an active participant in deciding on the right treatment. Theres no cookie cutter approach that works for every patient.
Dr. Moon enjoys working with patients of all ages, from 3-year-olds to the elderly. Working with such a variety of needs keeps him aware of how dental health evolves with the individual. Hes also a life-long learner and studies advanced dentistry on a continuous basis.
Dr. Moon graduated in 1995 from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, but he doesnt believe his education stopped there. New technology, advancing science, and changing methods and materials are all a part of his continuing education philosophy. Hes uniquely prepared to offer the right combination of treatment and methods depending on each patients unique needs.
Jennifer manages all the operations and is the face of the practice. She and Dr. Moon have been married since 1996 and they are raising their two beautiful grown daughters, Erin and Lauren. Jennifer studied nursing at Loma Linda University and is a registered nurse by profession. She is genuinely passionate in caring for others and it shows every day by how she provides compassion and personal care to each and every patient. Jennifers gift is in the relational aspects of the practice and she is always willing to go the extra mile to provide the best possible care and outcome in service to our patients. She prides herself on remembering ALL her patients by their name and not one person is left unknown. Away from the practice, Jennifer enjoys cooking and indulging in the culinary world. And, her primary devotion is to her church and serving in various ministries and prayer groups.
Debbie grew up here in Orange County and started her career as a registered dental assistant where she quickly discovered her passion for dentistry. Debbie took that passion and furthered her studies in dental hygiene, graduating from USC. She has a sound background in science and patient care and is always eager to meet, educate, and guide patients in reaching their oral health goals. Debbie has a calm, compassionate way of listening and offering care that makes patients feel completely at ease in her presence. Debbie actively enjoys most sports and especially loves a game of smash ball and swing dancing. Typically, you can find Debbie enjoying a day at the beach or offering support and service in her church. She is a proud Mom of her only child who is currently serving in the Navy.
Tera Salhus Tera first began her dental assisting career with Dr. Moon in 2016. She loves encouraging patients and helping them feel at ease during their dental treatments. She especially feels the most satisfaction when the patients are happy with their experience after their treatments. Root canal is her favorite procedure and she especially loves working with kids. She also teaches basketball to kids ages ranging from elementary to middle school. She also enjoys hiking and watching movies. She hopes to better serve her patients by being more in tune with their needs and care for each patient with the highest and sincere care.

Dr. Moon and his staff run an amazing practice. My entire family and I have been going here for several years and we really appreciate the great service he and his staff provide. It's very welcoming, clean, organized, and beautiful office. I highly recommend Dr. Moon.

Dr. Moon and his staff are amazing! Our dear friends recommended them to us and I can say that we are so happy coming here as a family. My young kids are so eager for their follow up appointments and it's due to the staff making us feel right at home. I highly recommend them and hope that you can gain the same family experience as we have!!!

I drove down from Hollywood 3 times to See Dr. Moon and I'll do it again if need be... He's worth the trip. He took care of a big job and got me to the other side of a painful issue that my (former) dentist in Hollywood couldn't identify. Top dentist. Cool guy. No nonsense. good work. I highly recommend Dr Moon for all my Dental needs. He is very caring, gentle. and considerate. Very family oriented and his wonderful wife runs the front office as well. He helped out a friend of mine that was after hours and took care of his needs. I recently took my Mom in and he took care of her completely and she loved him!! (Believe me she is hard to please too) They have an excellent hygienist too! He was referred to me by a friend that has been going to him for years and a Favorite for Mission Viejo residents on F/B. I have been to several different dentists and never desired to go back to any of them. So I feel very blessed to have found Dr Moon!!! I assure you that you will be pleased as I am with his excellent and professional workmanship!!

I can't put into words how grateful I am to Dr. Moon. A close family friend referred me to him after my dentist of 10 years tried to fix a crown that she had put on incorrectly. After two attempts, my dentist stated that she wasn't able to crown it and that I needed to lengthen my crown. This was a bloody procedure in which a periodontist had to cut my gums to make the crown fit. I was very distressed especially after she stated that I might have to just pull out my tooth! During out first appointment, Dr. Moon assured me that he would be able to crown it, which he did effortlessly. I highly recommend Dr. Moon for his expertise, professionalism, and integrity. He really cares about his patients and will recommend the best treatment to preserve your teeth.

Dentist Moon is a true professional and the entire staff is as well. I received a beautiful bridge on my front teeth. I also had tremendous success with replacing crowns on my implants! You will not find a better Dentist in Orange County.

I just moved to Arizona in January and was visiting my sister in Mission Viejo. A crown came off and I really needed to have it looked at. My sister, Megan, has always raved about Dr. Moon and his office staff. She called and he and Jennifer came in on a SATURDAY. They took the Best care of me. I can not stress enough how amazing their customer service and knowledge are. He figured out the problem within minutes and I was on my way. If I ever move back to OC I will Definitely become his patient.

Nothing but Positive feedback for Dr. Moon and the entire Team....I have had the privilege of seeing Dr. Moon for years and even though my HMO Dental Insurance doesn't it it anymore, i still will see Dr. Moon for everything Dental...I have had Root Canal, Crown, Cleaning, Bleach Trays...All of the above i would trust Dr. Moon over and over again....I will gladly pay to have the best Dr. with my teeth... Dr. Moon and his team are superb! I have been taking my whole family to them for almost a decade, and they are the best. My kids never fear "going to the dentist," and I actually look forward to my appointments because I know my teeth will come out looking and feeling immaculate, like they've gotten a full body scrub at the spa. Dr. Moon never tries to push any procedures on us, but I am so excited about getting Invisalign from him in the near future to correct some teeth that have shifted out of place over the years. I can't say enough good things about this practice. Jennifer in the front is the best too!!

I have been visiting Dr. Moon for several years now, and continue to be impressed by the consistent high quality of service, delivered with great care! As an Englishman I have an aversion to going to the dentist....Dr. moon makes it easy. Highly recommend!
