Dr. Edward Montoya graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 2007. He served 5 years in the United States Army where he obtained advanced training in complex restorative dentistry.
Dr. Montoya utilizes a blend of artistry and technology to help patients achieve their healthiest and most beautiful smile. His expertise ranges from routine check ups to cosmetic porcelain veneers, dental implants, crowns and bridges.
Dr. Jennifer Kang graduated in 2008 from Tufts University with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. As a general dentist, Dr. Jenn believes in catering to each patients unique individual needs to provide a wonderful dental experience.
Children hold a special place in Dr. Jenns heart. She believes in dental care that is approached with enthusiasm, positive reinforcement and success. She and her team strives to make each child feel welcomed, individual and successful.
Tim, one of our Registered Dental Hygienists, has been known to pull a practical joke now and then. He is famous for his amazing lemon bars as well as taking time to get to know each patient so that their unique needs are met with an experience that is positive and fun. He has lived in Atascadero for over 20 years and enjoys spending time with his wife, Kim, and their two daughters and 3 grandchildren. He sometimes rides his Harley to work and enjoys working on and fixing cars.
Michelle has worked in the dental field for 30 years. After graduating from Atascadero High school she attended Cuesta College. During this time she was given an opportunity to work in a dental office and she discovered her passion for dentistry.
Being a dental assistant has been a fulfilling and evolving career for her, with many exciting changes in the field of modern dentistry. She truly enjoys caring for patients, helping to make their experience positive and pain free. Her daughters, Madison and Maison, and her husband, Steve, are the light of her life. They enjoy family dinners, watching the Dodgers and hiking around the Central Coast.
Debi has been an amazing part of our dental family since 2015. She truly enjoys the longterm patient relationships that is part of general dental practice. She also finds the technical challenges of an ever changing dental world fun and exciting. Her favorite pastimes include spending time hunting, hiking, and camping with her family and lovable bulldogs.
Di has been in the dental field for 16 years; she was a dental assistant for the first 10 years, and a dental hygienist for 6 years. Di grew up in Los Angeles, Ca and later moved to Arizona. She served 10 years in the US Military, where she met her husband, Daniel. They have two beautiful children: Demi & Diane.Di loves spending time with her family & friends, watching movies, and cooking! Di also loves learning new things; she is currently learning to play the Ukulele!
Karlee was born and raised in Templeton and is an alumni of Templeton High school. She is currently a student at Cuesta College and has been a valuable member of the Montoya Family Dental since 2015. She truly enjoys being part of a dental team that is passionate about providing the best care possible for our patients. In her free time, Karlee enjoys hiking, traveling to new places, and trying new wine and food.
Claudia grew up in Salinas but fell in love with the central coast and now considers Paso Robles home. With 25 years of dental experience, she is an expert at assisting patients with their dental insurance and helping them figure out how to maximize their benefits. Her goal is to provide the highest level of care to all of our patients. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband, Chad, traveling, antiquing, and attending Bruno Mars and other music concerts.

I've been to many dentists and Dr. Montoya's office is awesome. The staff is kind and patient. The office is airy and clean! Dr. Montoya and his wife are wonderful dentists!

I am new to Dr. Montoya office, less than 2 years; have had so far three cleaning and a cosmetic procedure on my teeth. The dentist is knowledgeable and caring. Staff behavior and conduct is professional. The office is super clean and dental equipment are modern. I would recommend this office to anyone seeking quality dental care.

I have been going to Dr Montoya sence he opened in A Town. He's great. My son also goes there. I did make a mistake by making ONE appt with another dentist because he was closer to where I live. MISTAKE!!! Only Dr Montoya now. He's in Templeton. He has the best & most modern equipment & best staff. Ask me how I feel about Dr Montoya! He's very polite, caring & a great family man. I also love his office. Very comfortable

Today was a huge milestone for me to hit after losing some teeth to infection at only 31 years old from one bad root canal. After many surgeries due to bone infection and going into a sepsis state (not shock) many doctor visits to get my health back I landed here for my final step to get my implant crowns on. After all of the good reviews and being a Templeton resident. Today was a huge day of success and I I would be lying if I told you I didn't cry about it. Dr.Montoya and his assistanc was so patient with me, explained everything, numbed me because he knew I had some anxiety of pain from what I went thru and very gental. Thankful for today and hoping for a successful journey to end.

Great staff. Knowledgeable and friendly. Met Dr Kang who spent a lot of time on my initial visit explaining treatment plan and options. Highly recommend this practice for service. I was so impressed I set up an appointment for my wife's treatment.

The girls up front, Dr. Montoya, and his assistant Michelle.. they were all SO kind, gentle, and empathetic. The dentist can be a very uncomfortable and vulnerable spot for some and I cant speak highly enough about these three. I left the office knowing I'm in good hands.

I love the hygienist, Tim. He's super gentle. They're always on time. Office is beautiful and has all the modern equipment to make the visit quick and comfortable. All the staff, hygienists and doctors are gracious with their time, too.

My experience with Dr. Kang was exceptional. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Kang and Di explained everything they were doing and produced a very good explanation of what needed to be done. I recommend this office!
