Awesome staff...Tooth extraction nightmare!! I'm actually not sure if this Doctor was using me as a test subject of pain study of an African American. The pain medication used "if" was proper medical was very insufficient. People just be careful with this Doctor....NO stars

Dr. Ruiz is an excellent dentist. Very friendly and caring of his patients. I've been going there for almost 10 years. 2 of my daughter's have gotten braces and now my son has them.

This review is specifically for Benita the front desk clerk. I am from another dental office and called for an X-ray 3 times in one day the first response was "well I don't do that!" Second time I called was sure "the back staff will send it when they have time probably not today!" Third time I called she said the "computer was having problems" I simply asked well it's just an email how is it having problems she then responded "WELL WHATEVER" I have been in the dental field for 11 years and I have never talked with a front desk person who has treated another office staff so badly! She should definitely not be the first person to answer your phone calls and deal with your patients! Looking at other reviews it seems I'm not the only person who has thought this way! (Thumbs down Benita!)

Ed and the staff are the absolute best they take good care of you i travel here all the way from Indiana best dental place around! I highly recommend you take your dental needs to Ed and his amazing team!

From the ladies at the front desk to the assistants, Dr. Ruiz's support staff is amazing. You can tell Dr. Ruiz is passionate about his patients and their dental health. I have a ton of dental anxiety but feel very comfortable with him and his assistants. Can't say enough great things! I have already recommended his office to a few friends.

Very professional staff and dentist .They saved my mouth n what little teeth i had left ,many dentist would have made me pull all my teeth this guy is a mouths best friend fire your dentist n treat your mouth to dr .edward m ruiz

This review is based solely on my experience with the office staff. I emailed a request on his site for a estimate for a bridge and then again I left a voicemail for the same reason. I have not had a reply. So the staff is the first impression the dentist receives from patients. I read his reviews and am sad to say I was not given the opportunity for him to provide me with a bridge. I guess I will have to go out of my way to Loyola when Dr. Ruiz is in such close proximity to me. Hope other people have had much better results with his staff.

Front office staff is ALWAYS rude. Every single time I have to talk to them. It's ridiculous really. They are the first people that you talk to. Customer service is literally key.

The quality of my partial is poor.. the silver used in making them PEELED OFF within the first week and when I took them back I was told it was no big deal. I never had an actual partial only a temporary one that I'd used for years so I had nothing to compare it to... I've since seen how a good quality partial should look and I now realize that I wasted over $1800. Although, Dr. Ruiz and his staff were nice... needless to say I don't like the quality of my partial.

Front office staff is ALWAYS rude. Every single time I have to talk to them. It's ridiculous really. They are the first people that you talk to. Customer service is literally key.
