Dr. Karl received an acommodation letter for outstanding service from The US Army after two years at Fort Benning Georgia. He has served as assistant clinical professor in the graduate periodontics department at Tufts Dental School as well as University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He has also been a visiting lecture at The University of Iowa Department of Periodontics.
Dr. Karl and Dr. KennethKornman published one of the firstpapers on the use of antibiotics in the treatment of periodontal disease. This was based onDr.Karl's long termuse of antibiotics in his clinical practice.

Office staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr Karl was very thorough with explaining the procedure and what to expect after. Hardly any pain during or after the procedure. Highly recommend this office.

I can't possibly say enough positive things about Dr. Karl. When I arrive at his office, I am always met with a smile. Dr. Karl is a wonderful dentist, he is kind, he listens, he is attentive, and he makes even those who don't like going to the dentist feel comfortable.

As everyone knows going to the dentist is not on everyone's list of having fun. I have neglected my teeth for many years out of fear. I finally got the nerve due to my oral health declining. I found Dr Karl in my Aetna network and he had 4 1/2 stars out of 5. I am so glad I found him and chose his practice. Dr Karl's chairside manner is very warming and comforting. His Hygienist Tracy was incredibly gentle kind and extremely professional. I no longer have a fear of the dentist. Therefore, I highly recommend this practice and look forward to my next appointment.
