Dr. Eduardo Correa (Dr. Eddie to the little ones!), has been serving the Orange County area for over 9 years. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and his combined Pediatric Dental Specialty training at University of Southern California (USC) and hospital training at Childrens Hospital, Orange County (CHOC).
Dr. Correas goal is to harbor a life-long relationship of trust and promote the oral health care of children in his practice as well as in the community through volunteering and child advocacy. He is a strong promoter of early prevention and education in a warm and compassionate setting that meets the individual needs of his patients and families.
In addition to his pediatric dental practice, Dr. Correa serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of the Section of Pediatric Dentistry at USC. In that position, he teaches second-year pediatric residency specialists in the areas of hospital dentistry, sedation management, and clinical practice. Dr. Correa holds staff hospital privileges at CHOC and at St. Josephs Hospital in Orange, CA. as well as Kaiser Permanente- Orange County.
Dr. Correa has passed the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry written exam and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Orange County Dental Society, and American Dental Association.
Dr. Tracy Tran is a Michigan native who was drawn to Southern California by its sunshine and vibrant culture. She first landed here when she attended dental school at the University of Southern California. After graduation, Dr. Tran went on to complete a 1-year General Practice Residency at the University of Toledo Medical center (UTMC). There, she received additional training in all aspects of dentistry, with an emphasis in oral surgery. During the following two years, Dr. Tran continued her specialty training in pediatric dentistry, while completing her Master's in Biomedical Science through the Graduate Medical Education at UTMC. Dr. Tran is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Since being in private practice, Dr. Tran has taken a keen interest in pediatric tethered oral tissue (TOTs) and its relationship with orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs), including infant nursing, feeding and swallowing, speech articulation, and pediatric sleep disordered breathing. She has successfully treated these patients through a collaborative team approach.
Dr. Shah grew up in Orange County and received his Bachelor of Science from UCLA in 2003. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of California, San Francisco in 2007. In June 2009, he completed a 2-year Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Schneider Childrens Hospital in Queens, NY.
Dr. Shah serves on the faculty of both University of Southern California and University of California, Los Angeles Schools of Dentistry. Most recently, he spends time working at Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County, training residents and treating an underserved population.
Dr. Shah completed his specialty board certification and is a Diplomate with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Shah currently holds active membership with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Orange County Dental Society.
Dr. Shah enjoys educating children and their parents about proper dental care and maintenance for a beautiful healthy smile. He wants to create positive experiences, making your children feel safe and comfortable.
Dr Mark Ortega is a Southern California native. Like Dr. Eddie and Dr. Imoto, he graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr Mark attended University of Washington for his pediatric residency and received hospital certification from Seattle Children's Hospital.
Away from the office, Dr Mark enjoys traveling, hiking, golfing, and following his favorite sports teams (Go Rams!). Dr Mark especially enjoys learning about ocean life and snorkeling whenever he can. Teaching is a passion for Dr. Mark and since graduation is an Adjunct Associate Professor and Clinical Instructor at UCLA School of Dentistry teaching future doctors.
Dr. Mark holds active memberships in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Hispanic Dental Association.
I grew up in San Juan Capistrano and after high school I headed north to Santa Clara University where I received my B.S. in Psychology. After completing my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Tufts University in Boston, I returned to Southern California and Loma Linda University where I received my Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
I am truly blessed to be an orthodontist. I love interacting with patients of all ages and I enjoy seeing the beneficial changes that our treatment brings into their lives. I am excited to be joining Dr. Eddies team to bring beautiful healthy smiles to both children and adults alike!
As my patient you will enjoy outstanding orthodontic treatment, honest communication, and a friendly and professional atmosphere. As a mother I know that a kind and gentle approach is the best way to make your children enjoy the orthodontic experience.
My husband and I have two wonderful sons, James and John, and a golden retriever named Gus. When Im not in the office, I enjoy many activities including exercising, golfing, biking, hiking, reading, attending yoga classes, and knitting.
I graduated with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles. Continuing the proud Bruin tradition, I completed my professional education and received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the UCLA School of Dentistry (same year as Dr. Eddie!). Upon graduating, I pursued my general practice residency at University Medical Center in Fresno, California. The following year, I moved to Philadelphia to do my orthodontic residency and receive my Master in Oral Biology from Temple University. I am an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association.
I have a passion for working with patients of all ages and I am excited to be joining Dr. Eddies team to provide patients the smile they deserve. Having had crooked teeth once myself, I can empathize with my patients and help guide them through the treatment process. It is my ultimate goal to help patients gain the self-confidence they need by creating beautiful smiles.
Our office offers the latest in sedation options and hospital dentistry. We know that sometimes, kids have a tough time with dental procedures. To that end, we office various services to help them get through their procedures in the most comfortable way possible.
Our office is focused on preventing dental issues by preventative dental care. This means that we start seeing children early in life, and continue to build relationships with them until they reach adulthood.

If I can give a zero star, I would. Even Maria said that this doctor doesn't deal with unsatisfied patients. Save yourself a headache and go to a different dentist. Everything is wrong , from billing to treatment. All they want is to bill the insurance to the max and charge you extra. Their answer "We could have billed you more". Passive aggressive customer service.

We have been coming to Dr. Correa for years. My son has autism and to get anyone to be patient and treat him well was hard to find. We came on a recommendation from an old high school friend. They have done tremendous work for both my boys. My son with autism is no longer afraid to come to the dentist. The staff is fantastic!!! Highly recommend!!!

So thankful for all of the wonderful reviews that helped us find Dr. Eddie and team. Our son had chipped his tooth and they were able to see us promptly and took great care of our son who isn't too fond of dentist appointments. The office is clean and staff is so friendly! We were recommended Dr. Correa through our pediatrician, so I knew right off the bat that my three children would be in good hands. That was 10 years ago and here we still are many routine checkups and two sets of braces later. Dr. Correa and staff are the best of the best!

Our LO's first experience went so smoothly. She was a little scared but they put her as ease. I loved how she had her own room, everything was very children friendly and clean, her room even had an air filter in there. We came to this place at the recommendation of our pediatrician. Will definitely continue!

We have been seeing Dr. Correa for 8 years. Dr. Correa and his wonderful staff are the best.Such a clean and fun office and they would do anything for the kids to be comfortable. Highly recommend.

My kids always have the best experience here and they have been seen for both dental check-ups and orthodontics. Over the weekend, my son chipped his front tooth and not expecting a response on a Saturday evening, I took my chances and sent an email anyway. Within a half hour, Dr. Correa had responded and had me send pictures of the tooth and was able to advise me until he could be seen. They're the best!

The staff at Dr. Correa's office is just plain exceptional. From the beginning, each front office employee went above and beyond to make sure that our two boys (ages 4 and 7) were comfortable and interacted with them as a member of the family would. We chose this practice based on a neighbor's recommendation that they are highly trained and specialized in pediatric care. Their office has a fun family design complete with various entertainment option. Dr. Ortega was outstanding with our two boys. He explained each and every tool he was using and made sure to connect with each of them in a way that they raved about their visit. Our oldest had so much fun that he hinted at possibly becoming a Dentist himself. As a Customer Service Manager for over 10 years, I can absolutely state that Dr. Eduardo Correa's entire team deserves the highest praise possible in Dentistry. Thank you again and we look forward to our next visit.

After a traumatic experience at another local dentist, I decided to try taking my three kids to a dentist specializing in pediatrics. We LOVE Dr. Eddie's office and we've never looked back! The staff is so kind and my kids really feel at ease. In fact, they're so comfortable there that they even remind me when they're due for a cleaning! They like choosing their flavors, getting goody bags, and watching their favorite shows while they're getting cleaned. We've done twice annual cleanings, orthodontic evaluations, and we even had to have an emergency chipped tooth repair and it was handled beautifully - you can't even tell it was ever broken! I always recommend Correa Pediatric Dentistry to local family and friends.

We have been going to Dr. Correa for a few years now and have recently moved to another county, but still continue to take our kids to his office because he's our fave. Dr. Correa is super friendly, great with kids and always takes his time explaining things to us during our visits. In fact, my kids have seen other dentists in his office too and they have ALL been super nice and extremely patient with us. Dr. Eddie's office and rooms are also super clean. I noticed they installed air purifiers when COVID hit, which for me is a huge deal and I love the extra peace of mind I get when we visit because I always see bottles of Lysol in every room. :)

The dental care is great and they work with all kinds of medical conditions. All the staff are warm and friendly. I took one star off because we have to mask up inside even though kids are not carriers. Better to take older kids who can handle it mentally.
