We work hard to keep our office up to date with the latest dental technologies. We also support our staff continuing its education so we are giving you the very best care that dentistry has to offer. We want to make sure that you have a smile of which you can be proud.

We are dedicated to your comfort when you visit our office. We strive to give you a safe place to talk about your health. Our entire staff can help answer any questions you may have, no matter how silly you think they may be.

Dr. Kinser received his bachelors degree in Chemistry from Hope College in 1996, and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Michigan State University in 2000. After working in research for a few years he realized that he would like to help people more directly. In 2004, he entered dental school at the University of Michigan and received his DDS in 2008. He joined Belding Family Dentistry right after graduation and in 2016 he purchased both Belding Family Dentistry and Edmore Family Dentistry. Dr. Kinser met his wife, Mary at Michigan State University while she was in veterinary school. They live in the Greenville area and have a son and a daughter. Dr. Kinser enjoys water sports, photography, and doing crafts with the kids. Interesting facts about Dr. Kinser: He is originally from the state of Washington and started competitive swimming at the age of 5. He held records for the fastest times at Shelton High School in Washington and at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.

Cheri received her dental hygiene degree from Ferris State University in 1988 and has been working in our office ever since. She initially became interested in dentistry when she went through two years of orthodontics. Her favorite aspect of dentistry is getting to know her patients and establishing a relationship with them. Cheri has been married to her high school sweetheart, Kevin, for 34 years. They have two adult children, one grandson, Charlie, and a very energetic chocolate Labrador named Bentley to keep them busy. Cheri stays busy during her time off and enjoys boating, camping, and spending time with family-especially Charlie. Interesting fact about Cheri: she is extremely competitive, almost to a fault!

Connie received her degree in dental hygiene from Ferris State University in 2004. She also holds a bachelors degree and a masters degree from Central Michigan University in Education! She joined the team in November of 2012. She was initially drawn to dentistry because she wanted to be able to educate people about their health and utilize her biology degree. She loves that she gets to work with patients of all ages. Connie has two daughters and one grandson Aiden. When she is not in the office, Connie enjoys reading, riding bike, kayaking, and especially spending time with family at the lake. Interesting fact about Connie: she wants to retire in Africa and do mission work! She loves to travel and is always up for an adventure.

Shawn has been with the team for the last five years. She has been in the dental field for 32 years as a dental assistant and more recently as a dental hygienist. Shawn was drawn to dentistry after spending a lot of time in orthodontics. Her cousin was a dental assistant, and she considers her as a mentor. Her favorite part of dentistry is changing peoples lives by educating them one smile at a time. Shawn has three children, one stepson and two grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her work family. She likes working out, riding bike, jogging, tubing, camping, cooking out, working in her yard, and hanging around the pool in the summer. Shawn may seem quiet, but she is outgoing and loves meeting new friends.

Luci joined the team in June of 2020. She has been in dentistry for 11 years as a dental assistant and has made the transition to the front office since joining our team. She is a jack of trades! In addition to her front desk responsibilities, you will oftentimes find her working on inventory and ordering, and helping Dr. Kinser chairside. She and her husband, Jarrod, live in the Greenville area with their rambunctious cat Chloe. Luci has 4 children (all boys), 2 daughters-in-law, 3 stepchildren, and 4 grandchildren. Luci enjoys walks, hiking, kayaking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. She has traveled to California, Florida, Colorado, Texas, and Arizona. A fun fact about Luci, she has a twin sister!

Tami has been a wonderful addition to our team this year, handling multiple behind the scenes tasks for the office. She earned her business management degree from Gateway Community College in 2020. She was looking for a fun part-time job that would be challenging and connect her to a team and has found just that! Tami believes a persons smile is truly their signature and important to everyone! Tami lives in Belding with her husband of 37 years and just became a grandma, which is the best role of her life! When not at work Tami enjoys crafting, camping, and of course spending time with her family and a new grandson. She is looking forward to reading to her grandson and watching him grow.

I'm not a dentist person. Never liked them. But this place is special. They all are really decent people, who are trying their best to make your appointment as pleasant as possible. Special shout out for my hygienist Connie. It's like being with an old friend. She is very gentle and as sweet as can be, always looking out for my best interests. Thanks guys!!!!

I was so nervous.. it has been a few years since I've been to a dentist. I got there and immediately the front desk lady made me feel comfortable. The dentist and the lady that cleaned my teeth were great! Would recommend to anyone.

I don't normally leave reviews but my experience here was absolutely terrible. I went in for what I thought was a normal filling ended up leaving with no idea what work was just done on my teeth. I have anxiety pretty bad when it comes to dental work told both assistant and dentist that I was very nervous and not once was nitrous oxide offered (not a big deal) then when I ask for it because I can feel my blood pressure rising the dentist rudely tells me that I should have asked for it before I was sat down. From that point on in my appointment the dentist was very short with me and acted annoyed, not informing at all of the work he was doing, basically sat there and listened to him talk to his assistant. I felt extremely uncomfortable throughout the whole appointment to the point where I felt it would upset the dentist if I brought up any discomfort I was feeling, so I didn't. When he was finished doing my "filling" I was told I have to make an appointment with a specialist for two root canals of the teeth he was supposed to be filling. To top all of it off I was made aware (not till after my appointment) that my insurance would not be covering all of my appointment and that I needed to pay $521 right then and there, I just feel like had I known it would not be covered ahead of time I would have made the appointment at a later date when insurance would cover it (that's why I have insurance in the first place) I've never left a dentist office in tears before and I did that day. I'm a very understanding person I work with the public everyday but I felt very mistreated at this appointment and i will be canceling all future appointments with them and starting my search for another dentist office.

Very clean and beautiful building. Staff is very friendly and polite including the dentist. Dr. Kinsing does excellent work. Connie, who usually does my cleaning, is very professional and funny at times and nice to talk to. A pleasure to go there but I will have to admit the prices are a bit high compared to others in the area. Hoping for Medicare to start paying for dental work soon. I have been retired now for just over 4 years and pay 100% of dental and eye care on my own. Seems a bit ridiculous to me. Worked all my life and paid insurance all my life. Now I go without or pay sky high premiums. Just my rant. Has nothing to do with the care and service I have received there.
