Dr. Heath Whitfield was born and raised in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University prior to receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College
Dr. Whitfields goal is to provide excellent dental care and a great dental experience for all children and teens in afun environment. He believes in early childhood intervention and preventive dentistry during the growth and development years, assuring a healthy smile for life.

Dr. Whitfield is certified in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support), and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association and the Oklahoma Association of Pediatric Dentists.
Dr. Dirk Eckroat was born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. He attended Bowling Green State University and The University of Oklahoma prior to The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. There he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating with special distinction. Realizing his passion for treating children in dental school, Dr. Eckroat decided to pursue pediatric dental residency and was accepted into Childrens Mercy Hospital-Kansas City residency program. This additional training allowed Dr. Eckroat to expand his skills providing care to children with complex medical and dental needs. Dr. Eckroat is certified in both BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
Dr. Eckroat believes every child deserves the best possible dental care in a positive environment. He knows it is a great privilege to provide dental care for your child and looks forward to watching them grow over the years. Dr. Eckroat is also the Pediatric Dental Specialist at The Children's Center Rehabilitation Hospital in Bethany, OK., a facility that provides in-patient & out-patient care for patients with special healthcare needs.
Outside practicing pediatric dentistry, Dr. Eckroat enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin anddaughters, Rose and Emily and their new son Preston. He also enjoys staying active outdoors, sports, and traveling. The Eckroat's are members of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond.
Dr. Erika Eaton grew up in southeast Missouri. She attended Baylor University for her undergraduate degree before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry. After graduating from UMKC, Dr. Eaton attended The University of Oklahoma Medical Center / Childrens Hospital General Practice Residencya program treating 70% of children with medical complexities and children & teens with special needs.
After treating children for years in a hospital setting, she decided to pursue private practicehaving a passion for children and desiring to become a part of familys lives. Dr. Eaton loves providing quality care in a fun and positive environment.
Outside of Edmond Pediatric & Teen Dentistry, Dr. Eaton enjoys spending time with her son James and their dog Ellie. Dr. Eaton enjoys traveling, snow and water sports and interior design. She attends Life.Churchin Edmond.
Dr. David Cromwell was born and raised in Edmond, OK. His undergraduate career included time at the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma prior to receiving his Medical Degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine graduating Alpha Omega Alpha. He then completed his four years of Anesthesiology residency in central Texas at Scott and White with extra elective training in pediatric anesthesiology.
Dr. Cromwell is certified in BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and is an active member of the Oklahoma Society of Anesthesiologists.
Dr. Cromwell enjoys spending time with his wife, Tam, and five children: Luke, Brooklyn, Ryan, Emmy Kate, and Ella. When there is a spare moment to play, his hobbies include golf and hunting. The Cromwells attend New Song Church in Edmond.
Dr. Cromwell is a board certified physician Anesthesiologist who has been a partner in a large private practice group in Oklahoma City for the past several years. He is licensed to provided care to the pediatric, adult, geriatric, cardiac, obstetrical and vascular patient.

Such a good experience. My little 6yr old was scared but once you walk in its like a whole world of difference compared to other dentist experiences. It was fun. They explained things to me to make me comfortable. My son even said "can we go back tomorrow?" Haha

The office itself is very clean and kid friendly. The staff is wonderful and while we waited in the room for the dentist, a sweet nurse waited with us and played with my 2 year old son. The dentist Dr Whitfield is very welcoming and answers any questions I have. Update: son is almost 6 and we still love them and Dr. Whitfield, very patient and kind staff and understanding of my kid

Quick, painless, friendly and fantastic! I've got 5 kids with 5 different personalities (Including one "fancy" kid with special needs, who adores Dr. W!) and the staff here are fantastic with each one of them! They treat them like individuals, they are sweet and kind and educational when theres something going on. My kids LOVE going to the dentist and I hope that this translates to life long great attitude towards taking care of their teeth! <3 Thanks to the whole team there at Edmond Pediatric & Teen Dentistry!

We always leave with a happy child. we live about 40 minutes away but our daughter is pretty picky to certain ppl a d places and this is one place she is comfortable at. They do an amazing job, especially since our daughter is really sensitive and gets scared of doing things easily. She loves Dr. Whitfield and said this was her favorite dentist place.

Was a fantastic experience from initial scheduling of appointment to walking in the first time and especially everything thereafter. Everyone there was super friendly and the environment was great for both of my boys. Very thorough and friendly staff.

Dr. Eaton and her assistants are always amazing and very patient with my 5 year old autistic grandson. I appreciate how accommodating they always are and how they've worked us in when needed. Dr. Eaton and the rest of the surgical team did an amazing job on my grandson's teeth. The reception staff is always so friendly and helpful. My grandson loves the sensory friendly environment, all the games and fun things in the waiting area, and the games on the tablet in the dental exam room. He doesn't like having his teeth cleaned, but he still gets excited when he realizes where we are. We can't thank you enough, Dr. Eaton! We truly appreciate you!

Omg I couldn't have found a better place for my 7 year old this is the place to be from beautiful smiles to best front desk doctors and etc I felt like home! You must take your children here no EXCUSE LOL THANKS GUYS!

They have been our girls dentist since we moved to Edmond 6 years ago! We love Dr Eckhart and his staff! They are always courteous, warm and welcoming! They have made our girls visits so much fun that they love visiting!!

Dr. Whitfield and his team are wonderful! My son is on the spectrum and gets kind of nervous during appointments, and they work very quickly and efficiently, yet they're so patient, gentle and compassionate. The office setting is super fun for the kiddos, and everyone on staff is very friendly and professional as well. Would definitely recommend!

Going to the dentist has been really challenging for my 5 year old. He has never been able to really have his teeth thoroughly examined or cleaned at the dentist (and definitely not x-rays). We have been trying twice a year since his first birthday. It had gotten to the point that I dreaded going and hardly slept the night before due to the stress that I knew was coming. We finally switched dentists and made an appointment at Edmond Pediatric & Teen. Not only were they able to examine his teeth, they DID X-RAYS! The office is bright and colorful and every staff member was cheerful and spoke to my son with kindness. What a great place!

Absolutely Phenomenal staff & environment. The level of respect , communication , and feeling welcomed is unmatched . They make my child feel safe , comfortable, and fearless. After several locations , this is my child third dentistry and he has been here for 3 years now . Highly recommend!!!!!
