As a kid growing up in Morris, MN, Dr. Edlund wanted to be a dentist. His family dentist was a kind, caring person who invited Steve to follow him for a day. By noon, Steve knew he had found his lifes work.
At Concordia College in Moorhead, and later at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Dr. Edlund was treated to amazing educators. These dedicated instructors reinforced Steves natural love for problem solving, which allowed him to love the tough classes. Organic chemistry and Calculus were some of his favorite courses, in large part because of the wonderful teachers.
Dr. Edlund dreamed of having a practice that would allow him to know his patients well, and to work with entire families. In 2008, he purchased the practice of the retiring Dr. Kath, who had established it over the prior 40 years. Dr. Kath is still a patient at Edlund Dental, and a favorite guest of the staff.
When hes not in the office, Dr. Edlund lives in St. Pauls lively Mac-Groveland area with his wife, Elisa. They enjoy their home and neighborhood. He bikes to work whenever possible, and appreciates the beautiful trails near the river.
But some of his best weekends, he says, are spent on the family farm in Morris, where he still participates in planting, harvesting and working the land. Home matters to Dr. Edlund. Thats why he wants his office to be a comfortable, pleasant home for his patients care.
Dr. McGraw grew up in Eagan, MN. She became acquainted with St. Paul while in college at St. Thomas University. Dr. McGraw earned her dental degree from Southern Illinois University and has spent the last 4 years practicing in Faribault, MN. After 8 years away from the Twin Cities, Dr. McGraw is excited to return home and join Edlund Dental.
Lydia has enjoyed working in the dental field for the past 20+yrs. She began her career as a dental assistant, and has now moved into the administrative side of the practice. Lydia finds much joy in building connections. In her words, the best part of working at Edlund Dental is getting to know our fabulous patients and making their visit as comfortable as possible. During her free time Lydia enjoys exploring Saint Paul and spending time with her family and friends.
Pam has been working with our patients for over 35 years. She started with Dr. Kath, and now enjoys working with Dr. Edlund. She loves what she does and it has rubbed off! Her daughter is a dental hygienist too and now works PT at Edlund Dental! Its important to Pam that patients fully understand their dental health and care. She is very proud to be part of the Edlund Dental team and shared we truly are friends who look forward to coming to work and doing our very best for our patients.
Liz has been a hygienist at Edlund Dental since 2019. Passionate about the work she does, and the patients she cares for, she is committed to learning new and better ways to improve her craft. Liz says that, Edlund Dental has given me an excellent professional environment centered on the basic principle of putting patients first. I believe in teamwork, and understand that patients are the most important member of this team.
Sterling grew up in the Elk River area, and received his hygiene training at the University of Minnesota. After having spent the last few years serving the Denver area, he is thrilled to return home to Minnesota. Sterling enjoys building meaningful connections with clients and Making a positive experience out of something the patient may be very apprehensive about.
Wonderful experiences with her family dentist near Fargo are what inspired Emily to enter the dental field. She values the relationships she builds with patients, and takes pride in doing all that she can to ensure they have great experiences at our office.
When not in the office Jewell is spending time with her husband cheering on her 3 kids at wrestling or basketball tournaments. Besides sporting events Jewell loves to rehab old furniture, upscaling, remodeling and decorating.
Lori is originally from the small town of Lodi, WI. Growing up, Lori loved going to the dentist. Her dentists fun and friendly personality inspired her to enter the dental field. She enjoys helping people and working with our caring team.
