Edgewood Dental is quite simply the best. I've had nearly every type of situation/procedure with them over the years and have always felt it was of excellent quality. Due to a car accident in 1980 when I was young, I've had cause to visit many dental specialists, and general dentists both here and in Philly over the years. So I can say with complete confidence, Edgewood Dental's staff, expertise, customer service, and regular rhythm of modernization of their facility is as good as it gets.

I'm writing this review as a PROUD team member of EDA: As a transplant to Pittsburgh a few years ago, there were many dental offices in the area for ME to interview. I could have planted my feet anywhere.. just like a patient could! However, dentistry is all about ethics. As a licensed dental hygienist I took an oath to ethically care for every patient with out prejudice, judgment and at the highest standard of care possible. So any office I considered working at had to line up with these (my) ethics, right!? Well I am here, years later, to tell you that every last one of my EDA family members believes and practices this same quality of care through and through. I have been in dentistry for over a decade and I have never seen an office comes close to what we have here at EDA. I have the privilege to work alongside some of the smartest, most compassionate, and kindest people I have ever met. The culture of our office is infectious as soon as you walk through the door. What makes EDA an exceptional dental office is the warm, honest culture built on integrity and dedication to the patient....and each other! Great care stems from within, and every single person you encounter here will alway have your best interest at heart. And we're all great friends too! (Seriously!) I wouldn't have my family and friends drive from out of state for dental care if this weren't true. So if you're looking for an innovative dental office that is still warm and cozy, look no further. Take it from an employee (writing this on her day off!) It's a great place to work and an even better place for your dental care!

I have used Edgewood Dental for years. The office and staff are great. Recently, they told me that they were changing the way they processed insurance: I would have to pay up front and get reimbursed. After my cleaning, they told me the reimbursement would be 80-90%. That seemed odd for preventative care, so I checked my insurance plan. Preventative care and cleaning is definitely covered at 100%. I looked a little more closely and noticed that Edgewood Dental is no longer in-network, and that's why there is a cap on the amount of reimbursement. That would have been good to know _before_ my appointment! Or even when they were telling me that the reimbursement would be less than 100%. Now I will find a new local dentist.

Absolutely fantastic...Im sorry I was too busy looking at my new smile. So far as a review for Invisalign is concerned, I am absolutely happy. My wife told me, I should smile more. I'm 40 years old and I still blush a little when she says it because I'm not used to showing my smile....I have had trouble with my teeth for a long time. When I was introduced to Invisalign the process changed my life. Honestly it was a tiny bit uncomfortable at first being that I had a lot of work to be done but eventually I adjusted and it was a cake walk! Love the end results!

As an actual employee and as a patient today I am going to give my honest opinion. The online forms and car check in were fast and efficient. Dr. Ashley And her assistant Ashley were Fabulous! No discomfort during injection or the procedure, they made me feel relaxed, and we're very professional.

I visited this dentist at first time and I presented my insurance card and got my teeth cleaning done. They didn't say anything so I thought everything was good. And they want me to come back in 3 month and I did. And they want me to do some kind of special deep cleaning so I did. Then a couple weeks later, I got a bill $518. I was shocked. So I called them and asked about it, and they said my insurance will cover only $14 or something. I thought that was weird and I called the insurance company and found out this dental is out of network for my insurance! They didn't tell me at the first time. they didn't tell me when I visited 2 times even when I get the some kind of 'Special cleaning' done and they didn't tell me when I inquired about the bill on the phone either. More furious thing is I recommended this dentist to my family, and they told my family member right away, the insurance my family member has out of network. I feel like this was obvious discrimination to the second language speakers. My last dentist who is retired, always told me, what would be the bill even before the procedure. Grrrr!!! Check your insurance and make sure it is in network before you go this dental or you might get an unexpected big bill! So bad business!

The staff was super friendly and the professionalism was great. A very pleasant environment. Easy access off the parkway east and plenty of parking spaces. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone looking for an exception dental service
