My mission is to provide excellent comprehensive dental services for my community, create a comforting environment for those with dental anxiety, and to establish a dental home for individuals and families seeking long-term care.
I married my high school sweetheart, Ava, in my final year of dental school. We live together with our dog, Stella. My hobbies include outdoor activities, watching college and professional sports, and spending time with Ava, Stella, and the rest of our family and friends.
In her free time, Dr. Laura loves running, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors. She can be found hiking, walking in her neighborhood parks, and exploring the many dog-friendly patios of Charlotte with her husband and their 3-year old dog.

Update 10/18/22 : great job with today's cleaning. Excellent care and friendly staff. Just had another cleaning and exam and my previous review still holds true. Right on time for my appointment and the dental cleaning was excellent. I have confidence in the doctor and staff and will continue to schedule my dental care with them.

Incredible practice! Wonderful team that communicates each and every step to a guy that does not like going to the dentist. Incredible technology from cleaning to X-rays and procedures/communications by the entire team is fantastic from the time you walk through the front door your your exit later. Will certainly recommend to family and friends!

I had a wonderful experience here. Getting set up as a first time patient was painless, didn't have to wait to get in. Monik did an awesome job cleaning my teeth. Jessica made my x-rays super easy and quick. Caitlin was wonderful and very very helpful and kind! And Dr. Pollack was quick and easy with my exam. Highly recommend and awesome staff there!

Why was I charged for today when it was suppose to be free. Was not advised that fluoride would. Be extra!!!!!!

Had a cleaning done by Monik. She's amazing. Kind, soft spoken, knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly does an amazing job cleaning teeth! I do have a slipped disc in my jaw which makes keeping my mouth open uncomfortable but Monik made it easier by giving me some breaks in between to ensure my comfort! I will definitely be keeping her as my hygienist! Dr. P is great too! Friendly and thorough. Thank you!

Dr. Pollack and staff were beyond amazing! I had been in tears for three days, in desperate need of a root canal for an infected tooth. Another dentist in the area (as tempted as I am to mention their name, I'll refrain) tried to refer me to another dentist and then sent me home in tears. As soon as I called Edgewater Family Dental, I had hope that my pain would be taken seriously. I will never see another dentist as long as I live nearby. :-)

I chipped a tooth while out of town. They fit me in on my schedule after returning home. My problem was solved without having to return at another date. I have been impressed with all the staff on all my visits.

This was my first visit. I was impressed by the thorough evaluation. Dr. Pollock came in to review the X-rays that Jessica had processed for me. I was then given a dental plan with an explanation by Jessica. I made an appointment based on my experience to date. I believe Edgewater will be my dental care for the future.

This Facility did a great job on cleaning my teeth. The generosity of care from the technician was outstanding. The process was about 1 hour. However the price was exorbitant, 1200.00. When I returned to my Dr. of Dentistry who reconstructed all my remaing teeth, they Stated "I would have charged you half that price - as we offered". I need a cleaning every 3- 6 months. But it won't be through this Dentistry Location.
