Dr. John Cutting is a dentist experienced in all aspects of dentistry. He provides complete care, from general dentistry to cosmetic and restorative dentistry, in his convenient and comfortable office, Edgewater Dental Arts.
One of the things that sets Dr. Cutting apart from other dentists is the time he takes to build relationships with his patients. He understands that many patients are apprehensive when it comes to dental work, and he strives to make each patient feel at ease regardless of the procedure.
Dr. Cutting spent most of his childhood near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He grew up wanting to work in the medical field to help improve the quality of peoples lives. Service has always been a part of his lifestyle. His father served in the United States Army and went on to become a teacher. His mother works in the House of Representatives, and his sister is an occupational therapist in Florida. As a dentist, Dr. Cutting can improve not only the health of his patients but also their quality of life.
Kim joined our team 15 years ago and continues to advance in the dental field. Kim is truly passionate about all our patients and providing an outstanding experience at every visit. She coordinates our entire team to ensure your experience at Edgewater Dental Arts is extraordinary. Kim enjoys the tranquility of living near the water with her family in North Beach, Maryland.
Melissa has been in the dental field for over 15 years and has been with us since July 2020. Melissa started her dental career as an assistant and worked while putting herself through college. She attended Anne Arundel Community College, where she earned her associate degree. She then went on to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and obtained her bachelors degree in dental hygiene in 2018. She is compassionate and able to put her patients at ease and ensure a positive dental experience. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She also adores her fur babies, Ollie, Sophie, Bear and Ace!
Brooke has been in the dental field for over 10 years. She earned her license at Anne Arundel Community College and started at Edgewater Dental Arts in November 2020. Patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate bedside manner. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family when she is not working. Brooke resides in Queenstown, Maryland, with her husband, Bryan, and two sons, Bohdy and Blake. They have an adorable German Shepard named Boots.
Hailey is a native of Kent Island, Maryland, and now resides in Annapolis with her husband, Tyler, and daughter, Everly. She attended Anne Arundel community College and has been with us since June 2021. She has worked in dentistry for over 5 years and loves the challenges and excitement that are involved in the dental field. During her free time, she likes to spend it with her family, as well as attending Navy Midshipmen sporting events. Go Navy!

SCAM ALERT!!! This provider requires you to pay upfront at their retail cost even if you have in-network dental coverage. Then refuse to issue a refund after negotiated costs are reconciled with insurance! Shameful billing practices and should not be trusted.

This place my mom came to as an emergency. Her bridge fell off and they put back on. The same day it fell off! When she contacts them so that they can sort this out, they completely ignore her! Absolutely horrible way to do business! I will contacting some people so that they can start an investigation. I highly recommend that you don't come here. I wonder how many senior citizens they take advantage of over the years. Don't believe these 5 star reviews

As someone who is terrified of going to the dentist, I have found Edgewater Dental Arts to be the best practice for me. The quality of care is wonderful and Dr. Cutting is very patient, kind and considerate - as is his entire staff. Definitely recommending it.

Dr. Cutting fixed my smile in less than a week where it has taken other dentists years and countless dollars of mine. He truly cares about his patients and is as genuine as can be. Hands down best practice in Maryland.

After a few years of neglecting my teeth, I finally decided to visit Dr. Cutting and his team. Dr. Cutting was able to fill multiple cavities at once to limit the amount of visits, resulting in less pain and costs. Since the fillings, I never miss a cleaning and the entire Dental Arts team is amazing! Very professional team who makes you feel very comfortable during the whole visit. I recently had some pain and Dr. Cutting was able provide me with two new crowns. Crowns was new to me and Dr. Cutting explained the whole process and swiftly completed the procedure with ease. I currently forget that I have two crowns and would highly recommend Dr. Cutting and his team. Thank you!

Went in for a console and a teeth cleaning, after taking some X-rays the hygienist had Dr Cutting come in he immediately wanted to repair a tooth that was not bothering me, I took the recommendation and scheduled another appointment to have the repair against my better judgment but he is the professional. Bad decision. after a few days the left side of my mouth hurt so bad it was giving me a major migraine but i dealt with it for a few more days until my permanent cap arrived, i eventually couldn't take it any longer and called there to have the temp removed they informed my permanent had arrived. Perfect right?. wrong it's 2 months and the tooth does not fit correctly and hurts, I won't be going back and need to find another Dentist to make the correction, Update: Since posting review Dr Cutting has reached out to me on 2 separate occasions to correct the new tooth issue. with that being said I will update the rating because he is making an attempt to make things right.
