Dr. Ulfat Shafiq is a Brighton, NY native who spent her formative years growing up in our community. Dr.Shafiq attended Nazareth College, earning a B.S. in Biology beforeheading to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to complete her doctorate in Dental Medicine.
Upon completion of her doctorate, Dr. Shafiq returned to Western NY and began practicing as a general dentist in Henrietta, NY. In addition to her expertise in general dentistry, Dr. Shafiq specializes in restorative dentistry as well as emergency dental services. She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the New York State Dental Association (NYSDA) and the Seventh District Dental Society.The youngest of six children, Dr. Shafiq also has seven nieces and nephews whom she loves spending time with. In her spare time, Dr. Shafiq enjoys playing basketball and watching soccer. She is also an avidgamer and loves cooking. When not in the office, she may be found traveling the world or spending time with her husband and one-year-old son, enjoying all that Rochester has to offer.

Woohoo, just me dropping in quickly to advise my scaling procedure is done, and guess what? The last appointment went so well, today I'm thinking about smashing up a cheeseburger, YEAP. Seriously, the follow up was great, along with guidance and further recommendations to keep my beautiful smile. What are you waiting for, if you're in need to see a dentist and have put it behind, or just not sure what to do next about your teeth, call EDGEVIEW DENTAL and set up a consultation. The team is great and Danielle even took care of contacting my insurance company before I got my work done, so there were never any surprises. YEAP you heard me right and now my teeth are bright!

I had my cleaning and fillings done here in last 2 weeks and I loved the atmosphere. Everyone here is friendly and very caring in the office from front desk to hygienist and Dr shafiq. Doctor Shafiq is very nice and informative and I felt very comfortable during my visits. and very satisfied with the job and information provided to me during my appointments.

My experience at Edgeview Dental was great. Dr. Shafiq was very knowledgeable, attentive and paid attention to all of my dental needs. The hygienist Shannon took the time to explain all of the dental procedures and did a great job of removing my teeth staining.

I would like to thank the Edgeview Dental team for a wonderful experience. I had 2 teeth extracted, and the thoughtfulness of my comfort was the best experience I ever had at any dentist office. Clean, experienced staff of professionals that we're extremely personable. This was my first time at Edge View Dental and it was a pleasant experience. They take the time with you so you understand everything recommended. Also offered is a plan to save up to 15% for families or couples. The receptionist,hygienist, and Doctor Park areyare fantastic.
