At Eddie Kao DDS Cosmetic & Family Dentistry we offer patients a full-range of general and cosmetic dental services, from routine check-ups to complete smile makeovers. Dr. Eddie Kao completed his undergraduate degree at Duke University, North Carolina in 1997. Dr. Kao received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2004 from the University of Tennessee at Memphis, and completed post graduate general practice residency from Tufts School of Dental Medicine, Boston in 2005.
Dr. Kao focuses on comprehensive and esthetic dentistry for all ages. Dr. Kao continues to take advanced training in various aspects of dentistry which includes: cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery and implants. He also keeps up the newest techniques through continuing studies of research papers, seminars, classes, and participation and members with American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, and The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, (LVI).
Dr. Kaos mission is to guide patients along the path of optimal dental health and wellness for life. He will deliver the highest possible level of care; with compassion, integrity and understanding while continually pursue excellence through continuing education, personal and team growth and mastery of leading edge technology. Patients will be his main focus of this practice.

Update July 2022. The very best Dentist and staff. Excellence in dentistry and cutting edge techniques. First rate staff. Extremely clean environment. I travel from another state to continue my care with them. 5 years ago......when it comes to choosing a dentist...very tough....Dr Eddie and wife provide a first class experience, very thorough, effective but gentle. I highly recommend!!!!look no further....

Dr. Kao is by far one of my favorite dentists! You can tell he takes so much pride in his work. I really appreciate the time he dedicates on you while you're at your appointment. He has helped ease my anxiety by talking to me thoroughly throughout my visit.

Dr. Kao is a very skillful and kind doctor. I am so blessed to find him by my friend's referral many years ago. He keeps his knowledge up to date and strive to learn new techniques to benefit his patients even though he has a very busy schedule already. Last year I accidently cracked one of my teeth severely. He evaluated the situation and introduced me Bioclear technique that he learned recently that saved my tooth from been needing to be extracted! Bioclear does not covered by insurance but he charged me very reasonable price which end up saving me from a lot of pain and money of having to do implant or crown if I lost my tooth due to the crack. I have no doubt that he could have made more money and save himself more hassle if he extracted the tooth and do the crown the traditional way. But he took his time to do what's the best for his patients, not just to make money. His office is soooo clean, and he added many new equipment to prevent covid during this pandemic to ensure his team and his patients are safe when we need to visit his office during this difficult time. All his office staffs are professional and kind, everyone is working hard to serve their patients right. His office scheduling is also superb, even though his office is really busy, the most I every waited is maybe 10 minutes? And of course most of the time is puncture, they let me in right on my appointment time. He also really cares about his patients, I had couple toothache emergency time that I called the office for help. Dr. Kao always able to squeeze some time from his hectic schedule (Most of the time is his lunch time I guess...) to help me out with my pain. Thank you Dr. Kao and staff to make my dentist time a lot less painful! God bless you all!

I bring my whole family to Dr. Kao because he takes great care of our teeth and does not do unnecessary dental work like some other dentists. He does oral cancer screening and his clinic uses digital X-Ray instead of the traditional older x-Ray technology, and he is completely Mercury-free. He is kind and his staff is also very caring and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Kao.
