Dr. Nicole Eberle is passionate about providing her patients with exceptional orthodontic care in a warm, friendly, and caring environment in her office in Denver Cherry Creek. We create Denver smiles that last. Her journey to become an orthodontist began when she moved from her native Anchorage, Alaska to Evanston, Illinois to attend college at Northwestern University. While volunteering at Northwestern Universitys Dental School as a college student, she confirmed her love for working with people and making a difference in their lives. She graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University and moved down the road to attend dental school at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
Following in her dads footsteps, Dr. Eberle graduated from dental school with numerous awards and as the valedictorian of her class. Thus far, Dr. Eberle and her dad, Dr. Kenneth Eberle, are the only father-daughter duo to graduate at the top of their respective classes at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. She immediately entered and completed the Orthodontics residency at the University of Iowa. After graduation Dr. Eberle moved to Minneapolis, where she worked in an amazing private practice and gained extensive knowledge of Invisalign. Additionally, she taught orthodontic residents at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry as an Associate Adjunct Professor. She moved to Denver in 2009 and established an orthodontic practice in Cherry Creek.
As a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Eberle feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of her field. Thus, she maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest orthodontic techniques and technology. She has developed an expertise in esthetic and invisible orthodontic treatment options, including clear braces, Invisalign, Harmony, and Incognito. Dr. Eberle is a member of the American Board of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Lingual Orthodontic Association, the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society. Currently fewer than 10% of orthodontists in Denver are board certified. She is the past chair of the New Dentist Committee, part of the Colorado Dental Association. The New Dentist Committee is key to shaping the future of young dentists and dental specialists in Colorado.
Dr. Eberle is continually inspired by her parents. Her dad, an orthodontist in Anchorage, Alaska, is the best clinical orthodontist she knows. He is not only a board certified orthodontist, but a member of the prestigious Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists. She feels very lucky to have a personal consultant! Following successful completion of her board exam, Dr. Eberle was also invited to begin the intense seven year process to become a member of the Midwest Component of the Edward H. Angle Society, an elite group of orthodontists from all over the world who have not only earned board certification, but have demonstrated exceptional proficiency in clinical orthodontic treatment and knowledge of growth and development of the craniofacial complex. Her mom is a source of endless encouragement and ideas. She did everything possible to help Dr. Eberle achieve her personal and professional goals.
Dr. Eberle takes pride in giving back to the community. Her teachers and parents were fundamental in her education and her goal to be an orthodontist. Did you know that orthodontic treatment involves mostly physics with a little biology and chemistry mixed in? Dr. Eberle loves to give lectures to high school students on the physics, biology, and chemistry on orthodontic treatment. Younger students love to learn about what happens when you put a baby tooth in Coke or how much sugar is in common drinks we consume. If you would like to have Dr. Eberle come to your classroom or if you are looking for mentoring advice as to how to become an orthodontist, please contact us at [email protected] or 303-320-0307.
Dr. Eberle is married to fellow Northwestern alum, Matt, and they have three daughters, Brynn, Rylie, and Emilia. While not in the office Dr. Eberle might be found traveling, skiing, fishing for halibut and salmon in her native Alaska, attending Northwestern events (there's a lot of purple at their house), or cooking big meals for family and friends.
We have a friendly, caring team of women with over 50 years combined experience in orthodontics. Dr. Nicole Eberle is one of the only female orthodontists in the Cherry Creek area of Denver. Whether it be coordinating your schedule with ours, navigating the maze of insurance, making sure the colors on your braces match your favorite sports team or the dress you're wearing to your next school dance, or receiving the most technologically up-to-date orthodontic treatment, we are here for you.
Dr. Eberle has not only received an orthodontic certificate requiring all the training of a general dentist, plus several years of post-graduate education in an American Dental Association-accredited program in the specialty of orthodontics, she is also board certified. What does this mean to our patients and families? As board-certified orthodontist she has voluntarily completed the rigorous examination process of The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). Involvement in the certification process is a demonstration of Dr. Eberle's pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence. Dr. Eberle focuses solely on orthodontics so that she can provide you with the most effective and long-lasting treatment results. Dr. Eberle is currently the only board certified orthodontist within 4 miles of our practice. Fewer than 10% of orthodontists in Denver are board certified.
Dr. Eberle is honored to be recognized among her peers as a 5280 Top Dentist in 2016 for a seventh consecutive year. Dentists in the community who are asked who they would recommend as an orthodontist for their friends and family determine this list.
Dr. Eberle invites and encourages family and friends to the treatment area. There can never be too many people joining in the fun! Everyone can dream about what colors they would pick if they had braces! There can also never be too many questions!
At Eberle Orthodontics, we have a tradition of empowering kids. Your child or teenager will be intimately involved in their orthodontic experience. Our hope is your children will bring this sense of responsibility about their orthodontic treatment home with them.
Straightening teeth with clear or invisible orthodontic appliances is gaining popularity with adults who missed the opportunity to improve their teeth and bite in their teens or stopped wearing their retainers. Dr. Eberle offers the latest orthodontic treatment that is less visible or hidden from view. We work closely with our adult orthodontic patients to determine if they are a good fit for invisible braces, including ceramic (clear) braces, or Invisalign. Dr. Eberle was recently honored as an Invisalign Preferred Provider in 2020 for a tenth consecutive year and is a leading Invisalign orthodontist in Denver.
Are you a morning person? Is your family involved in several extra-curricular activities after school? We'll be at the office at 7AM with two eyes open and a smile on our face! Our after school and work hours are also convenient for those of you who have busy mornings.
Dr. Eberle believes that orthodontic treatment should be a once in a lifetime opportunity and this goal can be achieved with proper orthodontic treatment planning and retainers. Lots of time and thought is spent discussing what types of appliances (braces, expanders, Invisalign) are appropriate for you or your child. Equal time is spent on what type of retainer is most appropriate for you. Because teeth always remember their starting position, life-long retention of the teeth is critical. If you desire, Dr. Eberle cements permanent retainers on the teeth she feels are at highest risk of moving back to their original alignment. She is a firm believer in permanent retainers - she's had one herself for 20 years!
Temporary anchorage devices: are temporary implants used during orthodontic treatment that allows Dr. Eberle to move teeth more predictably. This means a better esthetic and functional result for our patients. Sometimes this means avoiding jaw surgery!
Soft tissue laser: At Eberle Orthodontics our goal is to provide our patients with the best esthetic and functional outcome possible. The best result requires thorough analysis of both the hard tissue (teeth) and soft tissue (gums). Our soft tissue laser allows us recontour the gum tissue for our patients, if necessary, to give them the smile they deserve. The soft tissue laser also allows us to help answer the unending question, 'Dr. Eberle, when is that tooth going to come in?' In some circumstances, the soft tissue laser can be used to uncover a tooth that is slow to come in, ensuring your orthodontic treatment proceeds in a timely manner.
Dr. Eberle believes that every child should have the opportunity of a beautiful smile. She participates in a program called Smiles Change Lives.
