Dr. August A. Eberhardt graduated in 1976 from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in Hackensack, New Jersey. Prior to studying at Fairleigh Dickinson, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Upsala College, East Orange, New Jersey. During his time at FDU School of Dentistry he was awarded a Community Fellowship Award as well as a Radiology Fellowship Award for developing a TMJ Head Positioner for locating the position of the patient's jaw in prosthetic management and rehabilitation. Dr. Eberhardt has been practicing for over 30 years and has held dental faculty positions at FDU Dental prior to its closure. He began his dental practice in Blairstown, NJ but moved the office to East Stroudsburg, Pa in 1985. Dr. Eberhardt has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. He is in full-time family dental practice in partnership withhis son, including implant and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Alan C. Eberhardt obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 2002. Prior to dental school, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Eberhardt has been practicing in East Stroudsburg since 2002. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Eberhardt has also kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care available. He practices full-time family, implant, and cosmetic dentistry in partnership with his father.
Dana joined Eberhardt Dental as ahygienist in January 2014. Priding herself on giving patients an anxiety free experience Dana is both informative and proactive about patient health. Dana completed her Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2013 from Northampton Community College.

I don't see how there are any negative reviews for Eberhardt dental. I have been going there for years! The father and son are so nice, they are the only dentists I trust. All the staff is great! They really make you feel like family. I can honestly say I never mind going to the dentist ever. You all are amazing! And Thank you for my wonderful smile and always making me feel so comfortable! 5 plus stars!

Best dental office around! The entire staff is great and so friendly. They treat me like family, I actually enjoy coming to the dentist. I would recommend Dr. Eberhardt to everyone.

The dentists are great but the receptionists slack on call backs. I had an appointment on 11/30/21 that they canceled because it was pending approval. I came in in February to find that it's approved now but they can't see me until the end of March. My tooth has broken more already. Also making you wait an hour passed scheduled appointment time without the warning that they're running late is inconvenient. Getting angry that we have kids making kid noise isn't okay when you have us waiting.

Just an overall great place, have worked with me countless times and even found a discount card which helped greatly because I didn't have insurance.

NO STARS but won't post without it. Owner is unprofessional, sarcastic and nasty. Made dentures that didn't fit right, created sores and refused to correct. On last visit insisted there was nothing else he could do. Refused additional visits. Told me when I got a dental degree he would discuss. Went to another dentist who was able to take care of his mistakes for additional money which should have been included in the price of dentures. So I was in pain for 6 months and it cost me more money for something I paid him for. Complained to insurance company that paid him and PA department of state, licensing bureau.

I have been using Eberhardt Dental for 10 years. I have always had excellent service, easy appointment process, and very short wait times when I had an appointment. In an emergency they got me in the same day. Always help me file insurance claims. Even found discount cards for me when I didn't have dental insurance one year.

Terrible customer service and lack of professionalism from the owner. She turned something I said..a compliment about her son..into a personal matter 3 days after the fact. She had the nerve to call me at my residence purposely looking for an altercation. She also refused to send over my medical records to my new dentist. No class

I've been with this practice for many years. However, in the past two years or so my experience with this place has taken a 360. The doctor charged me for a job the lab covered for free, because they honored their guarantee. Not only that but he was who made the mistake to install a crown wrong. Why Was I paying double for his negligence? Needles to say, my business it's done with this place. The other staff its great, but that doesn't make up for the wrong doing from the doctor (SON) to the customers. I do not recommend this place, unless you don't mind paying double for the same job. Wich by the way my mouth is not happy with the job.
