Dr. Lima is a highly trained and experienced dentist with special interest and focus in general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, dental implants and endodontics. An avid mentor as well as lifelong student, he is continuously seeking out better and more efficient techniques to deliver painless, predictable and effective dental care for his patients.
Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish , patients and team often comment on his calm, gentle demeanor and ability to put even the most anxious patient at ease. When hes not taking care of smiles, he enjoys snowboarding and soccer.
The best dentist ive ever been too. Front desk was extremely kind, and welcoming! Very professional, and made me feel comfortable. Having been a patient of Eaves Family Dental for many decades, I was apprehensive having a new dentist, as Dr Ed Eaves recently retired. Metaphorically and literally, those were big shoes to fill! The staff at Eaves Family Dental is truly amazing! The girls at the reception desk make you feel welcoming and are very friendly. The hygenist made me feel at ease and talked me through the cleaning and a treatment plan. They did not take my insurance but did gave me a great discount. If you are looking for a family friendly dentist, I highly recommend Eaves Family Dental!!

The office got me in quickly without being a current patient. Staff and dentist were excellent. I Decided to make them my primary dentist after my visit I was very happy with the experience

I'm 55 and been to multiple dentist over the years. Eaves happens to be my last stop. I'm am more than pleased. From the first phone call I placed till the moment I walked out the door. I received the utmost respect from the entire staff I engaged with. Everyone was kind, considerate and extremely knowledgeable. The treatment I received I couldn't ask for any better service. Gentle, not always a word heard of a dentist's office. My visit today was just that however. Everything was done in a professional manner yet with a personal touch. Thank you for working hard to make something not often liked, easy to take. Great job!

Upon entering the office a doctor noticed me waiting for the receptionist,and asked me if she could help me. I told her my prob lem with my teeth and she took me back and fixed them till I have my appointment next week..thank you very much for helping me

I have been going to Eaves Family Dental in Bath, NY for the past couple of years. I feel like I'm being treated like a partner in my dental care. I've been completely satisfied and will continue to receive my dental care here.

Came here for a cleaning. The facility is clean, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They're great with kids, both of mine had a fantastic first dentist experience here. Totally recommend!

Finally found a dentist that is taking new patients since the pandemic. I desperately needed a cleaning, and my wisdom teeth out. I was able to get in earlier than my initial appointment. I got into the dental hygienist quick and they were able to do all my X-rays and even do a teeth cleaning! I was originally only doing X-rays and a referral to a surgeon but they had time and I did too. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! The facilities were clean and people seems to enjoy their jobs there which is always a good sign to me.

I am VERY pleased with your super modern facility. I appreciate being able to get in as quickly I did because I have health issues & need to have the excellent dental care I received. Robin is an exceptional hygienist & I liked the dentist as well. The girls at the desk are VERY friendly and I look forward to my next visit.

Latest Update: Great visit and everything I said below, but even better. Not dreading a dental visit is a wonderful thing. Update: Cleaning today and it feels like family here! Wish I had found this great team a long time ago! First visit with Eaves. A warm, pleasant staff and Dr. Carlos is just the best. These "kids" know how to treat a patient! Hard to believe I am looking forward to my future dental visits, but I am!

I have not had great experiences here. I was just there today and again left frustrated. I had a temporary filling replaced with a permanent one and the dentist nicked my lip with the drill. No apology, nothing. I was getting a root canal retreatment/permanent filling done because the original root canal was done incorrectly 3 years prior (same location). When I started complaining about the on going pain they kept trying to adjust my bite. The last time I was in I was again complaining of pain and the dentist even mentioned my X-ray of the root canal looking suspicious but told me to wait and see for a few more weeks. THANKFULLY the hygienist went ahead and referred me to the specialist anyway. She knew it wasn't right. I just have zero confidence in my care here and need a new dentist. The cleaning experiences have been top notch. Other than that not good.

I needed a root canal on my first visit. Not ideal but I have to say this office is great! From reception to checkout, all the staff and Dr. Lima put me at ease. Every step was explained, options and costs detailed, and my comfort was their highest priority. I left feeling well cared for. It's weird to say this but I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I have never left the office without being completely satisfied with what I consider to be the highest level of care and professionalism. This is a great place to have top tier dental care and one I am recommending with every chance I get! Same today as when i first made this comment. They take the time that is needed to do everything right. Top class! Updated: 9/27/2019 - this dental office is world class!!! Updated: 4/19/2022 - pleasant staff as usual.

Nurse was great. I was 7 minutes early for my scheduled appointment....never taken to exam room until 40 mins. later. You do not accept the insurance that the majority of retirees/senior citizens carry which shows me you don't care about the oral healthcare of these people unless they are willing to pay cash. Doctor claimed he didn't have time to do my extraction today so schedule another appointment for 3 weeks from now. That 40 minutes I sat in the waiting room was more than enough time to pull my tooth. Is this your means of soaking patients for 2 office visits or was it because I was cutting into the doctor's lunch break? I will never step foot into any of your offices again and I will let everyone know what kind of business you are. Very poor work/provider ethics for a medical facility! You should be ashamed! I received notification of an answer to my review but your reply is nowhere to be found. Please send your rebuttal to me again. Thank you.

Be careful with how you pay,I used a discover card to pay for 3 future cleanings,and now they don't know if I paid for them.never again will I prepay with them.
