Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Love the service here. Staffs are really friendly. I got my teeth cleaned by one of the hygienists, Caitlin. Dr. Yen was very nice and took her time to explain the treatments.

Do not go here. My experience from my first visit was awful. i should have known not to stick around. First off, the front staff is very unfriendly. Very robotic, slow, and generally abrasive. I once stood in line to check in about 15 minutes with one person in front of me. No apology, no nothing. Second, I felt the treatment I received was rushed. I originally had one dentist, but then I guess she left and they just transferred me to Dr. Mekhel without any choice. She consistently chastised me and looked down on me, making me feel uncomfortable. Once a treatment is offered, them the front end staff give you a breakdown of costs; pretty much take it or leave it. It felt like a sales pitch rather than treatment. I agree with others here, a lot of it seems like a ripoff. My insurance has clear coverage costs and somehow they said nope, it only covers part of it, you are on the hook for more. Also, they are very disorganized with appointments. I waited over an hour past my appointment time in the waiting room. Then waited another hour in the chair before being seen. Something that should have taken a couple hours ended up being half a day. Even worse, I was in significant pain throughout my treatment. I told Dr. Mekhel and she said too bad. I was tortured for over an hour, never was she compassionate or apologized. My experience here is not unique. At one appointment one man was shouting because he supposedly waited 2 hours to see the dentist, was given an astronomical cost, and felt hosed. Exactly the same sentiments I had. I went to a new dentist where I complained that my night guard was too tight. He said, why didn't your old dentist fix it? They told me it was normal and to deal with it. That sealed the deal that Eastvale Smiles only cares about making money and hires incompetent doctors. Do not go here!

So far, I am Very pleased with this office, even the oral surgeon that they contract with. Just left after having an extraction. Barely felt the needle for numbing or the extraction. I was In and out in no time.

Update: Came back for checkup and cleaning. My hygienist Mia was super gentle and thorough. Dr. Yen and her entire staff always so friendly and easy to work with! Awesome office! Super nice doctor and very modern equipment. Finding a trustworthy dentist that makes you feel comfortable is like a needle in a haystack sometimes, but this is a great one in Eastvale.

My mother went to get her fillings, some cracks fixed and tooth brush abrasions fixed. The staff was professional and respectful. Everyone was so polite from the front desk to the doctor. We will visit them for all dental needs. You can't go wrong with them! Thank you
