As a highly credentialed dentist and native of Greenville, SC, Dr. Glenn Head graduated from Wofford College with a B.S. in Biology. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina where he received his doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in June of 1987. Upon Graduation from the medical university, Dr. Head was chosen to further his studies at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, where he earned his degree in pediatric dentistry. In addition to his private practice of more than 25 years, Dr. Head has been an active member on several local community boards. His involvement includes The Peace Center Board and Executive Board, Capital Fundraiser for The Childrens Museum of the Upstate, Governors School of the Arts Board, Share the Magic (Sponsored by Synnex) and Clements Kindness. He is a member of the Greenville Dental Society and The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. G is a member of OKU and she graduated summa cum laude from NYU. She was born in Kerala, India and grew up in Muscat, Oman before she moved to Philadelphia in 2004. I have been fortunate enough to live in different countries and experience different cultures. Dr. G is married to Dr. Teny Gomez and they have 2 beautiful children Grace and Elijah. She moved to Greenville from Chicago, around 3 years ago and since has grown to love the city and the people here. She has been working with Dr. Head since this time. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and enjoys cooking South Indian food. She loves traveling, Malayalam cinema and will soon be starting her training in Bharathanatyam (classical Indian dance form).
M. Lauren Jacques, D.M.D., is a native of Greenville, SC. She graduated from Duke University and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Jacques is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Piedmont District Dental Society, the Greenville County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She enjoys giving back to the community by being active in the Junior League of Greenville. In her spare time, Dr. Jacques enjoys cooking, reading, visiting the South Carolina coast, and spending time with her husband and two young daughters. Dr. Jacques loves being able to help her patients enjoy their dental visits and be proud of their healthy smiles.

I would give no stars if this was an option, please beware of this office!! From lies to roughness, to being flat out rude! My son didn't even have his teeth properly cleaned nor did they even try and speak to him during his cleaning!

Worst experience, made rude comments about my daughter and then was so rough with her and asked if she is always this strong willed. I regret not getting my child up and leaving then. We have found a dental office she loves and have had no issues since leaving here.

I can't say enough good things about this practice. After having dental surgery this past week which went well, a staff member checked in on my son. Also Dr. Glenn did too which was so nice. They are so professional and caring. We highly recommend and endorse Eastside Pediatric Dentistry.

This is the ideal place for your kids , they do an exceptional job, ladies at front are very kind, almost 5 years with them , Dr. Head is a wonderful person . Highly recommended!!

Dr Head is a gifted and compassionate dentist. I switched to his practice when I did not feel like my daughter was getting the appropriate care at her current clinic. He effortlessly and painlessly pulled some baby teeth that were hanging on and even referred her for orthodontic care and worked with the ortho to have her dental work scheduled around the brace fittings.

Today my daughter went in for an X-ray and the staff that were there to help with her were outstanding and very sweet to my baby girl. My daughter was afraid of the X-ray camera but Megan was there and helped her feel as comfortable as possible giving her stickers and lollipops to get a good look at her teeth. Because I couldn't be in the room, I am beyond thankful for the staff at Eastside for being so understanding and patient with my daughter and making her feel safe. Dr. Head was quick but also every observant, he quickly but throughly checked for discoloration in my daughters teeth after her accident, explained to me very clearly what he saw. So happy with how this office runs.

I don't ever do reviews but my child went to this dentist and they told me that he had four cavities and after going to another dentist for a second opinion (because my gut was going crazy) they found absolutely no cavities. It's pretty disgusting when you're willing to do unnecessary work to a five year olds teeth to get the money. GET A SECOND OR EVEN THIRD OPINION.

The facility is fully child friendly and very well managed. The staff is well-trained, professional and very warm. Above all, Dr. Head has over 30 years of experience in pediatric dentistry and does exceptional job. My son had different issues with many of his teeth and Dr. Head did excellent job on his teeth. Even after many visits, my son still says: "doctor was not scary at all. In fact, he is very cool :-)"

My son's crown keeps falling out because they do sub par work. They waited to tell me they were going to charge me for their mistake when I got there even though I have insurance. This office needs to be investigated for insurance fraud!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would . Today was my sons first appointment and it was terrible. The doctor /staff all seemed in a bad mood . They did not seem to care about my son feeling comfortable they seemed In such a hurry . Terrrible

My 2 children have been patients of Dr. Head for over 10 years. We have always received great care from Dr. Head and his staff. He is straight forward, efficient with time, and truly cares about the well being of his patients. The generosity he has shown my family is enormous. On our daughter's first cleaning after braces, It was apparent she had major staining where her braces had been. Dr. Head performed microabrasion on her teeth free of charge to help her and to thank us for being long term patients. Also, during the summer of 2021, our family is hosting 2 orphans from Ukraine. Dr. Head gave both of them free assessments, cleanings, and X-rays. When the assessments found a huge need for dental work, Dr. Head agreed to perform over $6,000 worth of work as a donation to the hosting charity. This totally blew me away and we can't thank him enough for his kindness, generosity, and expertise!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Dr. Head and his staff have been absolutely wonderful with my girls, ages 5 & 7. When the younger one learned she needed some dental work, she was scared and Dr. Head put her at ease before I could even speak up. I could not recommend Eastside Pediatric Dentistry more. I recommend Dr. Head to all my friends who are in need of a pediatric dentist. Look no further if you're in need of a pediatric dentist in Greenville!

Completely unreasonable when needing to reschedule. Attitude completely unacceptable when in this particular profession. I do not recommend for any single parents who work who needs to reschedule for any reason what do ever. Will not recommend period!

My children and I love going to Eastside Pediatric Dentistry! They provide a very friendly environment for both the children and adults. Very professional and accommodating! They focus on the best possible care of the child which is most important. My husband and myself went her as children and wouldn't take our children anywhere else!
