Dr. Bajwa is one of the dentists you are coming to see. From exam, fillings for small children to implants and molar root canals for adults. Dr. Bajwa is with you from beginning to end on your journey to excellent oral health. His skills allow you the ability to be taken from beginning to end of treatment by one doctor. This is very helpful especially with patients needing comprehensive treatment. Dr. Bajwa is is well known for his bed side manner, treating young children to phobic adults. He is licensed in Washington State for sedation and is well versed in managing dental fear. Dr Bajwa has been living in Issaquah for 15 years and his children go to local schools. Dr. Bajwa is a captain of a local hockey team. He and Dr. Peter have enjoyed, played the game together for years. Both look forward to NHL hockey coming to Seattle.
Dr. Peter Wong is a proud Seattle native and is affectionately know as Dr. Peter by staff and patients. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, he studied Psychology and Zoology and continued his education at Northwestern University Dental School, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1999. He graduated with Honors while also being on the Dean's List.
Dr. Wong returned home to do an internship at DECOD (Dental Education in the Care of persons of Disabilities), a special-needs clinic located at the University of Washington. He has also taught part-time at the UW Dental School Restorative Department as an Affiliate Instructor and has also taught at Lake Washington Technical College. He has pursued continuing education with courses in orthodontics and implantology. He is currently Invisalign-certfied. Dr. Wong is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), WSDA (Washington State Dental Assoc.) and SKCDS (Seattle King County Dental Society).
Dr. Wong 's philosophy is simple: 'I truly enjoy helping people. I believe that taking care of people is a privilege and an honor that shouldn 't be taken for granted. Treat patients the way you want to be treated and be honest with them. I strive for perfection, therefore my goal is to give my patients the best in customer care and quality of work.'

Dr. Bajwas talent has taken him to great success and I couldnt be more proud to be his patient again. I had lost track of him 6 years ago, so I had to settle for two different dentists. Bottom line is I will not loose track of him again!!

Caution! Do not go here for jaw pain, clicking, locking or other symptoms of a TMJ disorder. Their treatment is dangerous, and goes against the National Institute of Health's recommendations. I saw Dr Peter for jaw clicking and pain. He didn't ask more than 2 questions about my symptoms before telling me a 200$ out of pocket nightguard would solve it completely and easily. (The front desk said it was actually $550). Luckily I had researched and knew that nightguards were commonly recommended because the dentist makes a huge profit, but potentially can cause worse damage requiring years and tens of thousands of dollars to fix. This is especially true if your issue isn't thoroughly diagnosed: jaw issues aren't one-size fits all, despite what Dr Peter tried to convince me. Search TMJ and Reddit for horror stories. Before visiting Eastside Modern Dentistry, consider if you want a dentist who chooses profit over keeping up with modern treatment recommendations. Do your research before agreeing to pay for and use a nightguard. Search NIH and TMJ for the National Institute of Health's page and recommendations on TMJ disorders, and know what questions to ask before going to any dentist.

It was amazing! My teeth feel SO CLEAN staffs are super friendly and professional. They are so gentle and knowledgeable too, which made me feel comfortable. The wait time was short and everything was super clean! I appreciate the time for them to answer ALL of my pesky questions. Thank you for taking care of me

Dr. Kamal Bajwa and the entire staff at Eastside Modern Dentistry have been wonderful in serving the needs of my daughter, who is developmentally disabled. We are very pleased with the quality of their work. They are professional, personable, and kind; they have taken the time to befriend our daughter and calm her anxiety. On our first visit, as I sat in the waiting room, and heard her laughing heartily from within, I was convinced we had found the right dental practice for her!

I am usually not one to post reviews but I felt an obligation to protect others. My mom is a retired dentist and so I had her opinion. Dr. Wong falsely claimed I had 4 cavities which I could not see on the X-ray. So I took pictures on my phone to show my mom and she said there was nothing there. I requested to get my X-rays emailed to me and the receptionist called to cancel my appointment over a week aways saying the Dr. Wong had an emergency that day. It was a very shady experience and my gut feeling was not to trust Dr. Wong. He held a very overly fake niceness in which I felt anger behind his smile and it weirded me out. I only went there bc I'm in Grad school so currently not working and using apple health. I think there is something going on in this office where they are using apple health clients who don't know much about dentistry and exploiting the insurance for procedures- which make peoples teeth more vulnerable if the dentist is unnecessarily drilling holes and filling them or etc. It does people lots of harm to get dental work done if their teeth don't have anything bc it often causes future issues. Also this office has all new people which just got hired last month, but they have been there for a i think 2 years. So i think that is something to look into....why did they need to start anew. The hygienist is actually not a hygienist but a dental assistant- which I think means she's just off the street with no training- dental hygienists go through really intensive training- it's years of college and expensive- so basically Dr Wongs assistant is not a very qualified person- and I worry about how that plays out when she's helping him with procedures without the education. I'm not sure what the laws are in WA. All this aside it was a very poor dental cleaning that basically consisted of flossing and then putting on fluoride with this thing that was like a nail polish brush- which having gotten cleanings once a year my whole life, was the worst dental cleaning I ever had. I hope this place can get shut down. It's a total scam and people deserve better than dishonest people swindling them for dental work. I hope my review can serve the public good. I am happy to share images of my X-rays

Lost a filling-- but it was a cracked tooth. They got me in quickly, assessed it and were very clear in delineating my options for that tooth, and a nearby tooth. Decided to address both. The grind was painless and the Temps were installed promptly and professionally. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Recommend...
