My goal is to treat every single patient with the same kindness and respect I would give to a member of my own family. I want to cultivate collaborative relationships built upon mutual trust in order to provide the highest quality dentistry possible. My sincere desire is for my patients to leave smiling and satisfied, knowing my team and I did everything we could to exceed their expectations.
I have called the Upstate of South Carolina home for the past twenty years and I truly could not think of a more wonderful place to work, live, and raise a family. I feel blessed to be able to serve the community that has given me so much over the years, and I am fully committed to treating the incredible patients that live here for many, many years to come. I currently reside in Spartanburg with my beautiful wife, MeLeah, and our two young daughters, Calloway and Sullivan. As a family, we enjoy being very active in our home church, traveling, family movie nights, anything outdoors, and cheering on the Gamecocks! I am also an avid sportsman, so I love hunting and fishing as much as possible. I also enjoy playing basketball, reading, watching historical documentaries, and the occasional woodworking project.' Eastside dentistry offers an alternative method for cleaning teeth, for those who have sensitive gums. I personally do not like to hear the sound of my teeth being scraped, during the cleaning phase of a dentist appointment and I am great for the Dental Hygienist who introduced this to me a couple of years ago. I was recently fitted for a crown and the process was seamlessly done. Excellent staff and care is always given.

Dr. Griffin and staff are great. Ivory was very nice, she took good care of my husband and me with arranging our appointments on the same day and getting our bill paid. I am happy to report very little pain during tooth repair. Dr. Griffin and his nurse worked great as a team. On behalf of my husband and me, thanks y'all and we'll see you at our next visit.

Love my dentist office. Always so easy to get in and out. Invisalign work-in appt: Jessica was able to fit me in, and despite being super busy...Dr G was able to see me and talk thru my treatment plan even though I was a work-I'm appt, he didn't rush. Oh and everyone is always so friendly when you walk in and when you leave.

I have always had a pleasant experience at Eastside General Dentistry until today, dropped off my partial to have work done to it, and was told it would be back this afternoon, which it was. The problem I have is with Chelsea at the front desk who thought it was humorous that I was coming out in the rain to pick up what I had dropped off. Instead of calling and saying it was there she and whoever else was at the front desk were laughing and talking about someone coming out in the storm. Her response when she realized I was on the the phone, she said that the lab just dropped off your teeth ,you can come pick them up in the storm. I thought this was very unprofessional, it was none of her business if I came in rain, sleet or snow. She wasn't driving me and the office manager is no better. She acted like it was ok for her to say that, saying it was alot of people in the front , there was only one person on the phone and that was Chelsea. Very bad customer service on their part. The back staff is always very professional and apologized for what happened.

I arrived with my 5 children for our scheduled appointments. The staff was very friendly and welcoming of our large family. They were all kind each step of the way and patient. The children had access to books, colors and magazines. Both hygenists we worked with were capable and gentle. After leaving the dentist the children all commented on their pleasent experience.
