Luke Ristow, DDS, says, having the opportunity to get to know my patients and help them create or maintain a confident, healthy smile is the best part of my job. Dr. Ristow joins Eastridge Family Dental as a general dentist and will provide patients with comprehensive dental care, creating treatment plans that are tailored to their individual wants and needs.
Originally from Columbia, MO, Dr. Ristow earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and has spent the past three years practicing in the Kansas City area. His own dental experiences as a child inspired him to go into the profession. When I was 12, I had a gap between my two front teeth that a crayon could fit through. It was affecting my speech, and my lisp only went away after orthodontic treatment helped me close it. I remember the feeling of getting my braces taken off quite well, said Ristow. My speech improved immediately and my confidence shot through the roof. It was truly a life changing event. He hopes to be able to make a similar impact on his patients and the Lees Summit community.
When hes not serving patients, Dr. Ristow enjoys balancing his time between staying active outdoors, relaxing with family and friends, or enjoying a good book or tv show his current favorite being Ted Lasso. Dr. Ristow and his fianc, Kaylee, currently reside in Kansas City, MO.

Am beyond impressed with Eastridge Family Dental! The attention paid to every single detail of each patient's personal dental needs is uncanny. They are highly observant, extremely knowledgeable, incredibly thorough and very high tech and current in both preventative and maintenance care. Was honestly shocked at the extended time of appointments in order to make all of this happen. Is very obvious that a high level of individual patient care is THE top priority of this practice.

Eastridge Family Dental is awesome. I am really nervous with dentist visits. The staff is very friendly and caring. Dr. Ristow is always concerned that you are comfortable while he is working. Dr. Ristow even personally calls you later in the day to see how you are! They are the best!

Fast checkin service, new pt paperwork done before my apt electronically by phone. No waiting, checked in and was put in the chair instantly. Jessica was my hygienist she was so patient and gentle. I had my 1.5 year old daughter who Jessica and Erica kept entertained during my apt. Doctor was friendly, and quick to do my exam so I could get my daughter down for a nap! Highly recommend this dental office!!

I recently moved to Lees Summit and switched to Eastridge Family Dental. I really appreciated them communicating a care plan to me and providing a quote that detailed what is and is not covered by insurance in the care plan. Their staff is friendly and I trust them to continue to provide excellent care.

Fantastic staff, love the front desk ladies, main names that stuck with me was Sam and Jessica. Jessica did a great job cleaning my teeth. Very considerate of their patients. The dentist was very knowledgeable. Love it! I'll be back there soon. darn cavities

Overall I had a very pleasant visit at Eastridge Family Dental. I especially appreciated getting to visit with Dr Drew personally. He took time checking over teeth after cleaning. Hygienist was very kind and thorough. Music selection could be improved. Too much loud Country for dental office.

Was a 40 year client of Dr. Luther's. Had hopes when he sold the practice it they would continue with the simple and straightforward care my family and I have come to appreciate these many years. Unfortunately, this has not been our experience. In each visit, staff have attempted to sell additional services and equipment that I repeatedly told them I do not want. My wife and daughter refused to go back after cleanings that were too aggressive. Most recently I went in to replace a single silver filling and was told no, we are doing two. Instead of talking through the concern staff argued and insisted they were correct. I left after feeling pressured. It was almost like an auto repair shop where they come up with all these problems and you just wanted an oil change. Dr. Luther never had this "corporate feel" to his practice. We gave Eastridge every opportunity to keep us as patients. I'm disappointed to be looking for a new dentist after sitting in the same chair all these years.
