Dr. Tafrishi is a life-long student who continually pursues education. He is passionate about the human body as a system working together to create overall health. He is especially enthusiastic about the oral cavity since it is the gateway to the body.

He graduated from TUMS Medical School overseas as a family physician where he treated patients for seven years. As Dr. Tafrishi observed gum disease and bacteria in the mouth contribute to diabetes, heart problems, low birth weight babies, some forms of cancer and many other health problems, he became more conscious about the importance of oral health care and its relation to systemic health.

Because he is a life-long learner; being a family physician, no longer provided a challenge for Dr. Tafrishi. Consequently he returned to school and earned a degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery magna cum laude from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland, graduating in the top ten of his class. Dr. Tafrishis expertise for minor surgeries gained from his medical office had given him the confidence to serve patients in private dental practice.

Dr. Tafrishi joined North Point Dental Associates in 2008 as an associate dentist & has cared for patients in the Dundalk community since then. In January 2013, he took over the practice after the previous dentist decided to slow down.

Dr. Tafrishi strives to learn the latest in new dental technologies and techniques to ensure that your care at North Point Dental Associates is the best possible with the most comfortable treatment available. He regularly earns continuing education credits well in excess of the number required to maintain his dental license. Not only is dentistry his profession, it is also his passion. Dr. Tafrishi is a perfectionist who performs all dental procedures at the best level possible. He truly loves dentistry and spends hours reading the latest professional journals. He also spends many hours each year attending lectures on newest dental procedures and materials.

At the core of our dental practice is a friendly team of professionals that are dedicated to your utmost comfort and optimal oral health. We view each patient as a unique individual, and tailor each treatment to your specific needs. As part of our commitment to providing close, personalized attention to every patient, we want to encourage patient communication. Please know that we are here to provide outstanding patient care, and that we value the trust you have placed in us.

If anyone needs a tooth pulled for any reason I highly suggest Dr. T Eastpoint Family Dentistry ! He numbed me walked away so I could get numbed. Came back and was in my mouth under 2 mins I can not believe the tooth that was causing me so much pain and discomfort is out that quick! The Staff Is always amazing and kind. I've never had any issues in the 10 years I've been going to them. Thank you so much guys. It's been a day dealing with morning sickness from baby girl but they worked with me and her. Now time for us to relax in bed and watch the new Pinocchio on Disney+. struggles of being pregnant .

The woman at the front desk is VERY RUDE. People have appointments scheduled and she just sitting there eating her Burger King with an attitude not calling anyone back. She had me sitting for 45 min before being called then lied and said they were backed up. The dentist and his assistant were back there flirting in the break room. Do not go here!!! They just want to bill you and not do anything.

I recently visited Eastpoint Dental as a new patient. My insurance offers limited dentists in the area, so I was satisfied with finding one so close to me. I had a 4pm appointment, to which I arrived 15 minutes in advance to fill out any required forms. I did not get called into the back until 4:50, at which time I had x-rays taken. I was then directed to return to the waiting area so they could clean the room before I was examined. There were three ladies there, and they were doing more talking among themselves than working. The room should have been ready before I was brought to the back. By the time I was called back the second time, it was after 5pm, at which point I told them I would have to reschedule, as I had somewhere else to go, and had already been there way longer than I should have. When I first arrived, there were four people there ahead of me, and apparently they all had 4pm appointments. I understand there are two dentists there, so I'm a little confused as to how they can schedule four people for the exact same time. The girl explained to me that they had a really busy day, and they only have three rooms. All the more reason not to overbook appointments. It's not my problem if they were busy and were not properly prepared, nor that they only have three rooms, nor that they made so many appointments for the exact same time. When I make an appointment, I expect to be seen within a reasonable amount of time. An hour later is not reasonable. I won't be returning to this particular office. I would rather travel a little further to an office that is more professional and organized.

As a new patient, I do not recommend this family Dentistry office due to lack of professionalism. I had a follow-up appointment that they failed to schedule with no regard to my time or their error. The worst and I hate being called "sweetie".

Today I had my first ever tooth extraction, it was #16, upper left wisdom tooth. Dr. Webb, you are amazing!!! The extraction was quick and painless, even with the needle, I didn't feel a thing ! Thank you so much for making this experience super easy for me ! Looking forward to seeing everyone next month for my cleaning.

Terrible experience. Came because something went in to my gums while eating. Felt like a splinter in my gums. They were under able to locate. Wouldn't take my word for it. Even when I showed them the bump that was the splinter. And they charged me 55 dollars to take a look and couldn't even figure out what I pointed to. xxxx this place! Worse experience! Going to tell me its a bone! Come on now I have lived for 30 years! And you think a random horizontal bump is a bone i just discovered! Again Fxxx this place! Rip off bunch (trying to stay respectful)

Went here for the first time in the fall because I was experiencing tooth pain. They told me I had a cavity. They filled the cavity and afterwards they flossed my teeth. They could not pull out the floss between the tooth they just filled and the tooth next to it. I was still experiencing pain weeks later so I went back and they told me I would need a root canal. They cancelled my appt due to COVID so I went to a different dentist. That dentist informed me that I was experiencing pain because Eastpoint Family Dentistry put too much material in my filling and it was almost as if my gum was bruised. They smoothed the tooth and I am no longer experiencing pain. Bottom Line: Do not go here. Teeth are too important.
