Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. I came in for a new patient exam and was really happy with my overall experience. Everyone was friendly and I felt well taken care of. The assistant did a great job of making me feel comfortable while taking my xrays. Dr. Kamada was very attentive and personable during the exam. Thank you to the team for the great experience!

People were moderately friendly. Scheduled an initial visit which was 3 months out, October, that was the soonest available. Arrived to appointment only to find out the time was incorrect and now I have to reschedule. The soonest available is January! I'm done with this business!

I moved my family to this dentist after being with our last practice for over 20 years. Our first cleaning at any office is a trial. My sons and I have had our cleaning and consultations, which were excellent. There was no pressure to do the suggested work, and work that needed to be done (wisdom teeth extraction) was discussed with the pros and cons of not completing the recommended work. The office staff is warm and welcoming - The office is very clean, even on a rainy morning. But as luck would have it, I had a crown lift-off and had to call for a semi-emergency appointment. They were able to fit me in, and Dr. Carpio is fabulous. He worked to save my crown and tooth under - his bedside manner is gentle and caring. After this incident, I think we've found our new long-term dental home. Thank you, Eastlake Modern Dentistry!

I am completely satisfied with my services in this office, Eddy the Coordinator is very welcoming and a patient supporter and Cindy who checked me in was a sweetheart. I usually don't write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about this office... Firstly, when I went for my exam here, I was shocked at the x-ray tech who had a generally irritable attitude but most concerningly was her lack of hygienic practice. I watched in horror as she touched the then touched the door jam, plastic pieces that she put into my mouth, computer keyboard, removed the (now slobbery) plastic things out of my mouth, and back to her keyboard... all with the same pair of gloves on. My cleaning was mediocre and their equipment/techniques seemed outdated (compared to other dentist offices I've been to). I took a glance at my insurance bill and this office nickel and dimed delta dental for services that I am convinced they did not render. Secondly, when my fiance noticed he was overdue for his 6 month cleaning and called to schedule, they told him their soonest appointment was 3 months out... he scheduled regardless. Day before his 3 month anticipated appointment, he was told he scheduled with the wrong doctor and will have to, yet again, reschedule. This time the next available was 4 months out. This office does not seem the least bit concerned with their clients, sadly. I drive 40 minutes one way to go to Scripps Rock Dental in Scripps Ranch- where I always have a sanitary, state of the art, and exceptional experience.

Great customer service, super affordable , staff is super firendly and helpful. Check in process is super fast , Xray proccess takes couple of minutes. Dr Mora is very professional , explains you in detail every procedure, makes you feel confortable through the process. She takes the time to stop to make sure you're ok. I strongly recommend Eastlake Modern Denistry. Tumbs up for Eddy make sure you check in w him !!!!!!

The office is very clean. Front desk staff are always very welcoming and professional. Eddy is always very friendly and understanding, he always ensures we have the best payment plan that meets our needs. X rays are done quickly. Dr. Mora is very nice and professional she always explains everything very well and makes sure you understand the procedure that will be done. She also makes sure you are comfortable when doing the procedures. I would recommend this dentistry. My family and I are very satisfied with the overall services they offer.

I normally never write reviews but i feel it is important to warn others of visiting this office. Be very, very careful visiting this office! They claim that procedures will be covered through your insurance when they are not. I am being charged almost $1,000 for a visit that involved a CT scan which was never agreed to or signed off on for plan of treatment. I spent well over two hours at this office because their techs couldnt x-ray my teeth properly and they needed different people for every little action that took place. Never in my life have i visited a dentist and had 5 different people come in to do different jobs. Dr. Mora came in almost an hour after I got there and seemed like she couldn't be bothered with me. I had two conversations with her and she was gone. They had a girl come in to floss my teeth and she didn't even floss them properly. All I wanted was to get my teeth cleaned and now I have a bill of almost $1,000 because they fail to inform their patients properly. I feel robbed and lied to. I have perfectly fine teeth, my dental health is exceptional and now I'm being charged for things I was advised would be covered under my dental plan. Do better.

As awesome as it was being a child of the 80's, the only downside besides not having internet was the dental technology at the time. From a very young age, I was traumatized by the procedures that I endured by our family dentist who I'm convinced, most likely graduated from the 1863 Civil War School of Authentic Dentistry. However, after going to Eastlake Modern Dentistry for a cracked tooth, I am pleased to say that Dr Carpio and the team were able to assuage any fears I had with going to the dentist again. During my procedure, I didn't feel any pain or discomfort. Thoughts of getting teeth pulled out with rusty pliers and leeches that my 6 year old brain kept feeding to me the night before never materialized in the slightest. Everyone was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable and I would definitely go here again. It was a very comforting experience. I only wished that I went earlier and I wouldn't have a cracked tooth in the first place due to cavities. RIP broken cuspid...

The office staff is friendly, professional and courteous. Each one ensured that I had a thorough understanding of my treatment plan. Eddy has been extremely patient and ensured that I was on a payment plan I could easily manage. Their professional and courteous demeanors despite what we're all going through has been fantastic!
