Eastern dental is a trash heap of a business. I was turning 26 and getting off insurance and they pushed back a referral I had past the time of being able to afford it. They are low life scum bags and I don't recommend them to anyone. They also suck at dental work.

I have Smiles Dental Plan. Called to see if I could schedule a routine cleaning prior to 6 months because I was leaving for Fl for 6 months. I was told I could schedule 2 cleaning within 12 months. When I went in for my cleaning I was told I couldn't do that.

Wonderful care all around. Friendly, efficient staff made the experience smooth. Low wait time and organized check in and out. Dr. G. Was approachable and caring. The experience has eased my mind about future dental care.

I had a wonderful experience at Eastern Dental of Howell. The office manager, Tara, was very knowledgeable with explaining the proposed treatment plan.

I can not be more happy with the staff, especially Dr. G, Bridget and Tara. I was nervous about going to the dentist because I have a lot if issues. Everyone makes me feel more relaxed and eases my anxiety.

This office is the worst in customer service. It's taken almost a year in trying to make an appointment for a loose implant and still no one answers calls. You call and are put on hold. I have waited over 30 minutes on hold. I have left messages and even a courtesy of a call back. I will be looking for another dental facility.

very disappointed I was told my cleaning would cost 75 instead of the regular 50.They said it would be a deep cleaning. I walk in at 9:15 and was out of the chair at 9:30.I got no deep cleaning. I will be disputing the extras 25 dollar charge.I also left a message to talk to a manager about this but got no call back.

Do not mind the negative reviews. It seems like the receptionists were switched; right now there are warm, friendly receptionists. The doctor is good too.

I had a dental appointment which I thought I was only getting a cleaning. It turns out I saw the dentist first (I hadn't been there for awhile) but I didn't mind because it was the dentist that I liked. After 20 minutes I was told to have a seat because they were going do my cleaning. The only downside was I had to wait 20-25 minutes for the cleaning. It was longer than I thought and I had to go to work.

Eastern dental continues to improve on the ability to contact the office. The staff is very friendly and professional. My hygienist is gentle and thorough. Dr Rodriguez is the best dentist I've had. He works hard to customize your care. He is the first dentist I trust completely. Thank you Dr Rodriguez!

As I will not erase my rating below that I posted 6 months ago, I can only once again in all fairness give another rating this cleaning. As usual the appointment I made 6 months ago was once again changed, this time due to the hygienist needed to leave early. I was happy to come in early rather than as in the past , have my appointment completely cancelled by a voice mail. And then to try and call to reschedule an entire cleaning passed. This time I went in early, the regular dentist was not there, the dentist I saw was a very nice man, but simply asked if I have any problems. Since my answer was no, I had no exam in my mouth, the poking , the check under my tongue and a run through on each tooth in my mouth as dr Rodriguez does. Just my word of no problems and I was done. I MUST SAY HAPPILY, I GOT THE BEST CLEANING EVER FROM MONICA, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EXPLAINING HOW TO TAKE CARE OF MY TEETH, as I will never get tired of hearing tips and being shown how to floss, and brush. Very very thorough !! So needless to say, I experienced some type of improvement and made my appointment for my next cleaning , will see how that goes! Keep up on the improvement, it was well needed. And I must say the staff after getting past the front desk is extremely professional and very friendly. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!! Unfortunately my husband had to choose one dental group through his insurance company. Soooo, that choice that his Union Hall chose was Eastern Dental in Howell NJ. The office staff is the most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with in my 58 years of medical office experience. I don't have the time to express the horrible situations that we have had in our many years of experiences here. I have decided today that I would much rather go pay cash, and go to a different dentist office for my cleaning. This is a simple cleaning that I am in need of, God for bid I had a problem with my teeth. I honestly do not know what I would do in that situation. The best experience I have had with this office is when they had to send me elsewhere because their surgeon was out on medical leave. I do not know how an office can be still in existence that doesn't return calls doesn't answer their phone, and when they do so disrespectful. I just don't get it. I do have one thing Good to say, is the dentist Dr. Rodriguez is an excellent dentist and a wonderful man. It is too bad he has a staff that does not support his professionalism. To be honest I am always shocked to see that he is still employed there, he is definitely too good to be working in that office. There should be laws for things like this, CLOSE THE PLACE DOWN TYPE OF LAWS. It's almost as if someone is playing a joke on you.

I've had mixed experiences at Eastern of Howell but it was always leaps and bounds better than Brick. My recent experiences, post-pande, have been good.

Had an emergency visit, Dr. Rod was GREAT and his chicklet (MY GIRLIE) who assisted and the office staff was very helpful in getting me the emergency appointment. I have been coming to this location for more than 5 years, it is much better than the previous 2 locations I have used.

Been going to Eastern Dental of Howell for nearly 10 years now and I'm in great dental health. Any evolved problems do get resolved satisfactorily!!!

My family and I have been under the care of Dr. Rodriguez and his staff for over 15 years. We are all treated like family here and consistently have excellent check ups as well, due to years of care and good dental hygiene tips. On a recent visit I was greated by Samia, she was so friendly while explaining new virus procedures , as always Norma is the best tech ever ! and Shawna an exceptional hygienist. Dr. Rodriguez is the best dentist our family has ever had, we plan to stay at Eastern Dental.
