Eastern Dental has improved tremendously! I recently saw Dr. Tufano for a few dental procedures and she performed them with great skill, precision, and care. In years past it was difficult to get an appointment but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I would certainly recommend them.

My family seriously loves this dentist office! My 8 year old who is petrified of doctors did amazing! The assistant and Dr. Chris are amazing people. They made her feel so comfortable. Also, my 5 year old now wants to be a Dentist when she grows up. I've been there 3x now and every time has been superb. I wish I came here years ago. So much better then the place down the road. UPDATE FROM 3 YEARS AGO.. Seriously considering finding somewhere else to go, this place went way down hill.. for 3 years I have scheduled appointments for myself and my 2 children back to back.. well last time I called "they dont do that anymore because people dont show up" .. I spoke to someone else and got us 3 appointments back to back.. I will update my review of our visit when we go. **UPDATE** We switched to a different dentist. This place is awful. I wouldn't recommend.

I feel like it's time for us to find a new dentist. This dentist is really only good for cleanings but when it comes to anything more they seem to take forever to complete dental work because they make you come in for multiple appointments for everything and take months to actually get you an appointment. For example, my boyfriend was told he needed a scaling and root cleaning but they only do small sections of the mouth at a time so it took him about 3 months to complete this because they had no appointments. Then he got a root canal and needed a separate tooth pulled. He got the root canal and has had a temp filling in for 6 months and still is waiting for his next appointment, meanwhile his teeth haven't been cleaned in over 10 months but we're told they have to finish the rest of the work plus pull his tooth before they can clean his teeth. Meanwhile his teeth are getting full of plaque again and I feel like they're going to tell us he needs another scaling and root cleaning which cost us well over $1000 the last time. Now today he cracked one of his teeth and they told him they have no emergency appointments and to call back in 3 days to see if they can get him in next week sometime when this is an emergency, it's causing him pain and is extremely sharp and they seem to have absolutely no sympathy for it.

I have been going to Eastern Dental for years. I am extremely happy with the care I receive. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. The office has great availability.

The Staff At The Manahawkin ,NJ office are the Best,,, I have been a Eastern Dental patient for quite a long time,, starting in your Northfield office 20 or more years ago ,and moved to the Manahawkin office when it opened .I feel a certain friendship more than just a Patient..

Worst dental experience I've ever had in my life. Eastern Dental is the McDonald's of dentistry. Stay far away from this place if you can. I only went here because they accepted my insurance. Thank God I didn't take Dr. Prestup's advice or listen to him. He is awful! I went to a top notch dental office after seeing Prestup and they are taking proper care of my teeth. I am so happy now getting proper, professional and excellent care at South Jersey Periodontics & Implants located in Linwood NJ. Don't cheap out on your teeth. If you can afford to go somewhere that doesn't take your insurance, DO IT! Eastern dental is horrible!! Get proper oral care folks. Stay away from Eastern Dental!!
