Dr. Ted H Tang is a native of Los Angeles, CA. He attended the University of California at Berkeley where he graduated with honors in Molecular Cell Biology. He later went to the University of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. degree.
Dr. Tang is a member of the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association. He spends many hours each year pursuing continuing education to stay abreast of the latest dental techniques and thinking to ensure that the highest quality of care is delivered to his patients at all times.
Dr. Tang moved to Chandler, Arizona with his wife, Jennifer and their beloved Rottweiler, Tutu in 2000. Since then, they have added a boy and a girl to their family. Dr. Tang enjoys playing tennis, basketball, traveling, and most of all; he enjoys spending time with his family.

I love coming to this office, everyone is so friendly and Dr Tang doesn't try and rip you off by suggesting dental work that isn't needed. Kavauna (sorry I know I misspelled her name) but she is the best! I contemplated driving all the way to their Gilbert location when I was told she was no longer at this office, so thankful that lady misspoke because she greets everyone by name and makes you feel so welcomed. And Dr Teng knows his patients too, takes the time to get to know you, remembers who you are and things about your life. When you don't see a Dr but a few times a year that speaks volumes! I have recommended a few ppl and they all love it here. Definitely the best dental office in town

Dr. Tang is absolutely the best dentist I have been to in my 75+ yrs. and Cavana, the receptionist is awesome, so efficient, helpful and professional. Even though there wasn't an appointment available when I called, about 20 minutes later Cavana called back and said that they had a cancellation. A few days before my visit with Dr. Tang I had an appointment with another local dentist, needless to say, it was not a good experience and I was presented with a "treatment plan" that would cost me over $8,000. I decided to look further and found East West Dental and am so glad I did. I would definitely recommend this dentist.

Dr. Tang is personable and engaged with his patients. He makes going to the dentist easy and explains that Dentists should not cause pain, but to ensure great oral health and he makes sure he listens.

No giant monitor with my mouth visible for all to see. Cleaning was very thorough and easy handed. Pocket checks were not painful. Could not be happier. Very very pleased with service and quality of care.
