Whereas most dental offices in Chicago have five or six rooms out of which the dentists work, East Village Dental Centre has 14 rooms, which minimizes wait times and maximizes our ability to care for patients needs when they need it. We are uniquely equipped to handle dental emergencies of all kinds, providing quality same-day, emergency service to patients in pain.
Our state-of-the-art technology allows us to supplement two-dimensional x-rays with 3D CT scan images for precise placement of implants as well as a host of other diagnostic advantages. This cutting-edge technology also means you can say goodbye to bulky impression materials that cause some to gag and say hello to mapping your mouth with digital impressions taken with a digital imaging camera, providing our computers with a 3D map of your teeth and gums. Additionally, see dental crowns being designed on our computers, watch our milling stations bring the crown to life, and walk out with permanent, natural-looking restorations all in one visit.
Pragna is our Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Northwestern University Dental Hygiene School in 1987. She joined the East Village Dental Centre that year. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Society and the Illinois State Dental Society.
Pragna has played an integral part in the growth and success of our practice. She is especially interested in preventative dental care and works diligently to ensure that her patients teeth and gums stay clean and free of disease. Pragna is diligent in her work to ensure that her patients prosper in oral health, especially when it comes to prophylaxis, periodontal disease, scaling and root planing, and local anesthesia. She enjoys providing cleanings and creating treatments to ensure that her patients go out into the world with their best smile. She has a niche for discussing dental needs, from restorative, implant, cosmetic dentistry, to braces, and Invisalign.
Additionally, she makes time to remain updated on the quickly evolving and intricate dental world to ensure her patients oral health. Pragna also spends her time with our office pet dog, Shadow, and often visits her nieces and nephews, who constantly floss in case of a surprise exam.
Michael has been an integral part of the East Village Dental Centre administrative staff since 2013. He is passionate about treating patients like family and making everyone feel warmly welcomed. In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with wife and two sons, watching movies, reading, and playing board games and card games.
Juana has been a critical component of the East Village Dental Centre clinical staff for over 20 years. During that time span she has held nearly every clinical position in the office. Juanas calm demeanor, high level of professionalism, and adept dental assisting skills have elevated the offices ability to care for patients effectively and efficiently.
Adriannas leadership is essential to excellent front desk operations at East Village Dental. In her almost decade of experience, Adrianna has become well-versed in all aspects of the administrative side of dentistry, including dental coding, scheduling, and coordinating with insurances to help maximize your benefits.
Dr. Treinkman, Dr. McWilliams, Dr. Kowalczyk, Dr. Wardell, Dr. McShane, Dr. Dani, and our dental team will provide all the services you need in one place. We take the time to listen to you, and to create a customized treatment plan based on your individual needs.

I am a scared cat when it comes to dentists and the staff was aware of this and made sure I was as comfortable as possible.Dr.Treinkman was very gentle and easy going and seemed showed concern for my fear and kept asking was I okay during the procedure.Ludy actually held my hand during the numbing process and Wana(sic) was quite kinda well.

I was having a bit of a dental emergency and East Village Dental Centre was able to fit me in same-day on a Saturday morning. Staff were helpful and extremely kind during my entire visit. They were also extremely transparent with pricing of all services, alleviating me from that financial anxiety. I was able to get the problem tooth extracted that same day and am feeling so much better thanks to the wonderful nurses and doctor. I will absolutely be a loyal patient, thank you so much!

OMG!!!! I've never like ANYTHING about going to the dentist. My sister found this place for me today and was able to get me a same day appointment. The environment is aesthetically pleasing, great customer service, and yes, the bathroom was clean! Dr. Patel & Nat were so amazing! They eased my anxiety and even made me laugh during what ended up having to be a dental surgery. Who laughs during a dental surgery or at the dentist at all? Although it is pretty far for me, I have found my new dental home! I definitely recommend this place. It is well worth it. The anesthesiologist was even really cool. I didn't catch his name, but he made me smile also. This place is a one stop shop for all of your dental needs! Check them out. (They also have a parking lot)

I was nervous going in after a pretty bad past experience and I can't explain how wonderful they were. If you're intensely researching dentists to find one you can trust, check this place out. They are fast and compassionate. They have a reasonable level of action for concerning areas (act now, later and keep an eye on it, change for preventative care, etc.).

I couldn't be happier with this dental practice. The facility was so clean and smelled nice. Every employee I came across from the front desk, x ray tech, dental hygienists, and doctors, were so kind, calm, and knowledgeable. I had an appointment for a teeth cleaning and a dental exam. The teeth cleaning was fine and the hygienist was super friendly but after the teeth cleaning I was told the dentist would be in to see me in 5-10 minutes. I said that was fine. I was waiting for almost 30 minutes after the cleaning when not only had the dentist not come in yet but no one had come in to check on me to let me know what the hold up was. There was also no one around that I could ask what was going on. So I ended up getting up and just leaving and even when I was leaving no one was in sight except for the receptionist at the front. I thought that was extremely unprofessional and rude.

UPDATE (Separate Procedure and Review): Thank you Nisha for expertly completing my first fillings!
