After working in a volunteer health clinic in college and coming back to visit my local orthodontist, I decided that I wanted to become an orthodontist myself. 2006 remains one of the biggest years of my life as I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry from Oklahoma State University, married my lovely wife Jil, and moved to Dallas to start dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry. I graduated in 2010, ranking 4th in my class. My three-year residency was a time of great growth, both personally and in our family. I worked as a general dentist on Saturdays and weeks off from residency, gaining valuable experience in a non-academic setting. An opportunity did arise for me to head back to my hometown and work in an orthodontic practice, but I found myself once again heading back in Texas after just 18 months when an amazing practice became available.
My family could not be more proud to be members of this world-class community. I am excited to continue to build relationships with local schools, sports teams, and families in the hope that our practice can offer locals the orthodontic services that they need for healthy, straight, and beautiful smiles.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Got an appointment same day. I was on a tight crunch and they got me in and out under 30 minutes. They were so sweet and kind. It was just the best.

Friendly, clean, and quick! Went in for a consultation and they were very easy to work with. Scheduled to have my braces put on and they were great. Open room thats clean and spacious and they are fast and efficient at what they do! Just went back yesterday for my first adjustment and I was in and out in 30 minutes. Never have to wait long and staff is always helpful and friendly.

Both of my boys have their orthodontics done here and we absolutely love them! They are awesome with the kids, and the front desk girls are very helpful and friendly. They always accommodate our crazy schedule, and get us in and out quickly. Thrilled with ETX Ortho!!

The best Orthodontics office in all of east Texas!!! They were able to get my daughter in quickly for a consultation, and we even got her braces on that same day! (I had asked ahead if this was a possibility so we scheduled for a time when they could) all staff were so friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. We loved them so much that I even decided to get top braces back on as an adult to fix a few minor issues that I had with my smile. This office was great every step of the way, my only downfall is that we moved and couldn't finish care with this office. Glad we got to know everyone though and thankful that my smile is now amazing and my daughter got a great start on her orthodontic needs. Thanks so much to Dr. Brown and all the office ladies, you all made this experience so wonderful. Wish you all the best!

Staff is amazing, doctors know what they are doing. Went to another local orthodontist and they wanted to pull 4 adult teeth on my kiddo. Without even trying to save them. Highly recommend.

I have two kids in braces from here and out of all there offices we love the Athens one!!! The staff is always helpful and understanding. The office is clean and bathrooms spotless.... thats a big deal to me! I would highly recommend the Athens office!

So having braces at 48 is not my most favorite thing, but I can't think of a better orthodontist to have than East Texas Orthodontics! When I've had "emergencies" from a wire poking me to broken brackets, they have always squeezed me in the same day and have been incredibly accommodating. The staff and the orthodontists are AMAZING! Every. Single. Visit. Highly recommend forever!
