East Texas Community Health Services, Inc. (ETCHSI) is a private, not-for-profit corporation established in 1987 by a group of committed community members to fulfill the mission of providing health services to medically uninsured and underserved residents of rural East Texas. Over the intervening years, ETCHSI has grown into the largest multi-specialty primary care practice in a 50-mile radius of Nacogdoches, TX. ETCHSI has been led by only three (3) Executive Directors/CEOs and has had one former Board member serve in the Texas House of Representatives for the last 14 years.
ETCHSIs health care delivery is based on our mission of preventive and primary care services through a provided by a provider panel consisting of an internist, a family medicine physician, a pediatrician, family nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, and a licensed professional counselor.
While Ms. Humphreys has only been the CEO for a few short months, she has been with ETCHS since 1990 as the Chief Financial Officer. She demonstrates a consistent record of unqualified audits in accordance with GAP, circular A133 and meeting all grant/contract-specific audit requirements. Ms. Humphreys has been instrumental in the growth of ETCHS through leadership, supervising all human resource, billing, accounting, and IT personnel.
Ms. Murdock has served ETCHS since 2007 as an accountant, performing all the duties that come with the position. Before joining ETCHS, Ms. Murdock worked as a CPA at George Clark & Associates, LLP from 2005 to 2007 and as Senior Internal Auditor/Financial Analyst/General Accountant for Lufkin Industries, Inc. from 2000 to 2005.
Ms. Murdock received her B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2001, her Master of Professional Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2001 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2004.
Dr. Sotillo is an ABIM-certified, Spanish-speaking physician with extensive geriatric care experience. Before becoming ETCHSs CMO, Dr. Sotillo was a physician for Baylor Senior Health Network, a faculty associate in General Internal Medicine at UT Southwester Clinical Center, and was Medical Officer at USA MEDDAC Gorgas Army Hospital in Panama City, Panama.
Dr. Sotillo attended medical school at the University of Panama before his internships at Santo Tomas Hospital and Marco Robles Hospital in Panama City, and Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. From 1987 to 1988, Dr. Sotillo was a clinical instructor at Mount Sinai and from 1995 to 2004 was clinical instructor at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, while working at Parkland Memorial Hospital (Dallas County Hospital District).

Everyone was friendly. I went in and did not have to wait long. The Dentist let me know what she was going to do. They numbed me and when it was time to pull it, she told me what she was doing and she was very fast at it too pulling it. I wasn't nervous because they were very friendly and kind. So I would recommend this place if you need a tooth to pull.

I went to both clinics, the Medical and Dental. They have wonderful people at both places. Friendly, polite, professional, all my questions were answered. I was really impressed with my visits today. If you meet the requirements, you should go and see these wonderful places of business!!!!

Took my son there today and their just as nice as they were when I was there years 4 ago. Was able to take with the dentist who's going to be pulling his tooth, can't remember her name but she was as sweet as could be. Love this dentist office. Would recommend to anyone.

Recently had the chance for some dental work. The staff is friendly, and Dr is knowledgeable and does not do a step without informing you what it is she is fixing to do and what you should expect.

All the staff members are extremely friendly, the dental assistants and the dentist herself were PHENOMENAL! I had to have 2 teeth right beside each other extracted and didn't even realize she pulled them I've never been to a dentist that's so gentle!
