Dr. Jessica Phillips grew up in LaFollette, Tennessee. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from East Tennessee State University, she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2010. Dr. Jessica went on to complete her post-doctoral residency in pediatricdentistry at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in 2012. After completing her education, Dr. Jessica decided to return to the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee to start her practice. In her free time, Dr. Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband Garry, three children Maggie, Reid and Raylan, traveling and cheering on the UT Vols!
Dr. Jessica is a member of severalprofessional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, theAmerican Dental Association and the Tennessee Dental Association. She is also board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry provides assurance to the public that Dr. Jessica has not only successfully completed accredited training, but also completed a voluntary examination process designed to continually validate the knowledge, skills, and experience requisite to the delivery of quality patient care. Dr. Jessica is also on the medical staff of Tennova Physicians Regional Medical Center and East Tennessee Childrens Hospital.
Dr. Ashley Russell grew up on the beautiful Gulf Coast in Fairhope, Alabama. She graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 2009 with her B.S in Biology-Psychology. She then went on to complete her dental education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2014. Following graduation, she worked as a general dentist for two years in rural communities all across Alabama. Then in 2018, she completed her advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and Childrens Hospital of New Orleans in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Ashley also became a board-certified pediatric dentist in 2019 and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She moved to Knoxville in the fall of 2019 and is thrilled to call East Tennessee her home now. Dr. Ashley loves helping children learn healthy habits from a young age and wants all of her patients to develop a love of going to the dentist!
In her free time, Dr. Ashley enjoys spending time with her fur baby Jude, a very energetic and sweet Boykin Spaniel, and her boyfriend, Will. She also enjoys hiking and exploring the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee, traveling and trying new restaurants, exercising, reading, and visiting with friends and family as much as possible.
Breanna Costa D.D.S. is from Chattanooga, TN, and enjoys living in East Tennessee. She attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she received her Bachelors in Chemistry. Dr. Bre continued her education at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN, and graduated in 2016.
After dental school, Dr. Bre moved back to Chattanooga where she worked until moving to Knoxville in the spring of 2018. Dr. Bre greatly enjoys dentistry and working with children. Her goal is to make treatment comfortable and fun. She is happy to be a member of the East Tennessee Pediatric Dentistry team and is looking forward to meeting your family.
Dr. Bre continues to study and learn about new techniques and equipment through continuing education. While not working, Dr. Bre enjoys getting outdoors, hiking and cycling. She enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Maggie, and Arthur.

Very great experience. Very quick service and the dentist and staff are great!!! Upfront about costs and Very understanding in the treatment plan. Definitely glad we found East TN pediatric dentistry!

Highly recommend! The staff is amazing! My 8 yr old daughter can be a lot to handle but they made her feel safe and explained how everything was going to go with her procedure. They are just all around amazing with children!

Excellent, kid-friendly service. 4 stars only because they didn't check my insurance before the appointment, and we ended up having to wait 30 minutes for them to get approval.

Really not a problem. But when my child watch every other child get to pick out the prize bin. Then when comes time for her to. she doesn't and then gets rushed out the office. I find that a little disheartening. Because she was asking but oh well.

East Tennessee Pediatrics is the best of the best! All of the staff members are so kind and helpful. My almost 2 year old loved going to his visit today, and it was such a positive experience for him! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!!

The waiting area is neat and not your standard area. Bright and fun, with a cute set up for the kids to play. Everyone who worked there was very sweet and made the visit go smoothly. Glad we found this office! My son loved it.

This was my 2 year old's first visit to the dentist and everyone we interacted with was very nice and made my daughter very comfortable. Everything from the toys in the waiting room, to the different colored dental chairs, to the Lego wall helped put her at ease.

Had an extremely positive experience at east Tennessee pediatric dentistry. My son had his first cleaning and did so good! My daughter was taken at the same time and they made her feel comfortable enough she was fine I sat with her younger brother just across the hall. They staff was wonderful with all the children! The dr was great! My son said he had "fun". So I would say I give it 5stars for sure! Thank you again!

This place is fantastic! It's clear that the people who run this business really care about what they're doing. My son and I both loved the waiting room. It was really well decorated and kept my son's attention the entire time we were waiting for our turn to be seen. During the appointment, all of the employees were so kind and knew exactly what to do to make my son feel at ease during his appointment. I'm so glad we chose to make an appointment here. This is a great place to take your kids.

I want to say this place is great with kids and we loved the fact everyone was very child friendly. This was our first visit and we are grateful we chose East TN Pediatric Dentistry for our child. They even gave us an appointment the day we called. Definitely a wonderful experience for our four year old whom came out of there super excited. The dental assistant even drew her pictures just because our child asked. A big thank you to E.T.P.D.

My daughter went for her first dentist appointment and the staff took excellent care of her. They made her feel calm by talking to her and playing with her. It was a great experience, especially since I was expecting her to be scared since she hadn't been to the dentist before.

So impressed with the staff and how they really do cater to children being a pediatric dentist. The assistant at the front desk noticed the characters on my daughters backpack when we walked in and picked out special stickers for her at check out.

My son has struggled the last year and a half to do anything at the dentist. We were recommended to East TN Pediatric Dentistry in Oak Ridge and on our first experience there it was such a kid environment that immediately put him at ease. The staff were so friendly and worked with my son to make sure anything they did he was comfortable with. We went from only allowing someone count his teeth, to him having the complete check up completed on the first try. They move in stages with what works best for the child, and I know going back for our next check up he will continue to make more progress. Highly recommend for children!!
