Born and raised in New Haven, Dr. Bednarczyk has provided quality, family-oriented dental care to the East Rock Community and beyond since 1981. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Fordham University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington. By participating in regular, ongoing professional development, Dr. Bednarczyk remains at the forefront of his profession serving his patients with passion and dedication.

I have been working at East Rock Dental for over twenty years. I enjoy working with a great team of people. I love interacting with our wonderful patients which fosters pleasant relationships. I could say that East Rock Dental is my second family. In my free time, I like to travel, camp, hike, and ski.

I have been enjoying assisting the doctors at East Rock Dental as well as helping our patients maintain their beautiful smiles since 2000. Throughout the years our patients have been a great inspiration to me.Listening to their stories and seeing them entrusting to us not only themselves but also their children and grandchildren is truly special. Outside the office, I love to bake, work in my garden and take care of my parrot, Felix. Above all, I always look forward to spending time with my grown children and traveling to Acadia National Park with my husband.

I love my job! It just gets better when you get to work with a great team, like East Rock Dental. I have worked in a few different roles in the dental field since 1980. Being a hygienist is my favorite. Teaching patients how to care for their teeth is the most important part of my job. Getting to see the results is my reward.

When I am not working I enjoy my time at home with my youngest son, our 98 lb Boxer Bentley, the sister cats Fatcat and Mini. My oldest son lives in Colorado; my now favorite vacation spot. Then there is always gardening, cooking and shopping!
