Let's talk dentures! I've been wearing a upper plate since 1994. I went to have a replacement and I can't tell you how ecstatic I am! Dr Caruthers went above & beyond to make sure I had the prettiest,most perfect fitting denture I've ever had! Love him ! Go to him !! Go

100% feel like I'm treated as a person vs a patient here. Dr. Carruthers is very professional and down to earth. The office staff are very welcoming! The hygentist is awesome! My dental assistant is amazing! I had crowns placed a few months ago and experienced a malfunction with the temporary crown. The dental assistant, Kelcie, went above and beyond to come in on her day off (while prego) to remake it for me so that I could be comfortable through the weekend!! I am so thankful for her!! She always ensures that I am known and heard through every single appointment. I could not ask for a better co pilot through this dental journey of mine!

If I could give Dr. Curtis Carruthers 10 stars I would. After moving to this area, I tried a number of different dentists. I found most to be outrageously priced, and indifferent at best. Then I found Dr. Curtis Carruthers and East Ridge Family Dental. He and his team are by far the best in the area in so many ways. Over my several years as his patient I have found that he absolutely looks out for my best interest, is very reasonably priced, keeps up with the latest technology, and treats you like family. Do yourself a favor, stop your search and make an appointment with Dr. Curtis today!

I went for my cleaning in July 26th it had been a while and I was embarrassed but the young lady (the hygienist) was amazing , good people skills helped me relax , excellent mad skills and cleaning my teeth, I can remember her name but WOW!!! She was great!! Everyone else they're was very nice too its a great dentist office very clean and welcoming! It made going to the dentist not so scary!

Carruthers= my dental nightmare. I agree w Ty's review. What were good dentists now just bad. 1) insulted my appearance because I came in even though healing from an injury 2) changed his diagnosis three times to convince me to make three more appointments 3) rude and disrespectful to older people.. eye-rolling, really!? 4) treats staff and clients like he's better than everyone now

If you have anxiety come here!! when I got cold, they gave me a blanket, my fillings were painless! I didn't even feel coldness when they drilled in my teeth and didn't feel the needle at all. They were so sweet to me and helped me through every second of the way! They also made sure my bite was perfectly even when they put my filling in and my other dentists didn't do that. Thank you so much!!!

I'm nobody important, but the entire staff makes you feel like you are and your dental concerns really matter. I had a dental issue come up Friday night and called the office after hours to leave a message, assuming it would be followed up on the following Monday or Tuesday. I was grateful to learn they offer after hours text messaging for emergencies. Dr. Carruthers was able to advise me what to do until I could get in to the office. The sweet girl (Devin?) that works up front worked to fit me in a cancellation the next workday. I know that doesn't always happen that quickly, but they are very good at managing their full schedules there, so they work with you to get you in asap, especially in an emergency. This office values your time and will not take up more than they need to. As a customer and a consumer, that wins my business everytime. FWIW, Dr. Carruthers is very good at numbing. Should you need it, you won't feel a thing. :)

Dr. Carruthers is the best dentist! Mimi, my dental assistant, goes the extra mile to make every visit a great experience. I love East Ridge Family Dental! I highly recommend them.

I've ALWAYS hated going to the dentist since I was little, but Dr. Carruthers and his staff are the A Team of Dentists/Dental Assistants/Office Managers. I was in intense pain 72 hrs after a dental operation and Dr Carruthers met me after hours to help diagnose the issue and put together a recovery plan. He's always got a smile on his face, and genuinely cares about his patients. You won't find a better, more caring DDS, guaranteed. HIGHLY recommend his entire office.

I can't say enough good things about East Ridge Family Dental! Dr. Carruthers and his dental assistant Kelcie always make me feel right at home! They are wonderful at their job. I actually enjoy coming to the dentist! I highly recommend them!

What a comfortable visit. I loved the atmosphere. Dim lighting , comfortable chairs, and especially the nice sound system playing upbeat modern music. Everyone was energetic and full of information without trying to sell me a thing. In the past, I've been told that I needed certain dental work, but later found that it was an upsell attempt. My fillings would be fine, but they would tell me that I needed fillings. Several questions later, I would find out it's because of age and not necessity. I am very thankful to find an honest dentist so close to home. My hygienist was "Jazz" and I would basically follow her wherever she goes in the area. She was informative and really took time to treat every little corner of my mouth, several times. She was fully present and I could feel that she wanted to do the absolute best job. It's hard to explain but sometimes dentists & hygienists treat you like a set of teeth instead of a person. That is not the case here. I don't fear going back to them in 6 months and I'm very thankful for the service I got today with Jazz & Dr. J.

I really like this dentist, but he is so good he has grown so much, that the service is not what it used to be. I had a tooth fall out of a denture and called to see if he couldook at it. I was told by the receptionist to bring it in and drop it off I just wanted it looked at first.

I'm gonna start off by saying, I have been absolutely terrified of the dentist since I was a child and had a bad experience. As a result, my dental health is not the greatest, but there is absolutely no judgment or shaming by anyone in this office! Everyone in the office from the receptionists, the assistants and Dr. Carruthers are the kindest, most caring people. They truly make you feel welcomed and calm your nerves by making sure you are comfortable and are in no pain. I will recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you all for being so wonderful!

My husband and I have been going to East Ridge Family Dental since he opened up and we would never go anywhere else we are always pleased with the service and everyone's so nice . And no pain Ever. Best Dentist in Chattanooga hands down . I am a coward when it comes to pain . Curtis Carruthers , we call him Doc he's a really nice guy you need to give him a try , and he will even see you in an emergency, best guy ever you will appreciate finding him we sure are . We would give them a 10 if possible.
