Dr. Reckling received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska Medical School College of Dentistry in 2003. He holds undergraduate degrees in both biology and psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Reckling relocated his family to Sioux Falls, SD upon graduation from dental school, where he began his career practicing general dentistry.
East Ridge Dentals core values include giving back to the community and a commitment to personal growth. In recent years, Dr. Reckling has volunteered his skills at the Sioux Falls Community Health Clinic and has served on the Sioux Falls Community Health governing board. Dr. Reckling is a member of the South Dakota Dental Association, the Southeastern District Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the American Orthodontic Society. He has a passion for continued learning in his field. He has received instruction in the Spear Curriculum, Progressive Orthodontics, as well as certification in Invisalign.
Dr. Reckling and his wife Linda have two sons, Samuel and Nathan, and two beloved canines Annie and Charlie. He is actively engaged in family life and is currently pursuing his black belt in Taekwondo (along with his two sons). In his spare time he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing and cycling. He is also an avid Husker Fan.
