Dr. Claire Towning is a graduate of Bishop Rosecrans High School in Zanesville, Ohio. While in high school, Dr. Claire worked for her father at East Ohio Oral and & Maxillofacial Surgery. This experience helped her gain an appreciation and love for oral surgery. After high school she attended The Ohio State University where she studied Microbiology. She was accepted into dental school at The Ohio State University a year early and graduated Magna Cum Laude at the College of Dentistry in June of 2012. She then continued her training at Ohio State University after being accepted in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program. After completing the four year residency program, she received her certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in June of 2016. She then joined her father, Dr. Larry Towning, in private practice.

Got all 4 wisdom teeth removed, never have had any surgery before. Everyone was very nice and understood my anxiety. Had a good surgery and recovery!

Dr. Larry Towning removed a HUGE Fibroma from the roof of my mouth. Even though it was laser surgery, I really, really appreciated that he and his assistant kept asking me how I was doing, or whether I needed a break. Pre- and post-operative instructions were clear and easy to understand. I haven't had any pain after the surgery. The staff was extremely nice. Everybody made me feel relaxed and comfortable about what could have been traumatic. Thank you all!

Dr. Claire Towning did my wisdom tooth removal. Amazing experience. I'm not sure where the low reviews come from. I have never had any type of surgery or tooth pulled so I was anxious. She made sure I was comfortable and walked me completely through how I would feel and what was to be expected. Also was given her cell phone number for after care incase I had questions. Amazing experience and I have minimal pain!

I don't understand the low reviews. If you have to see an oral surgeon, there is no one better or more caring and the support staff is very friendly.

Dr. Matt Pinsky and all the support staff at East Ohio Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery provided me with excellent service in December 2012. I was pleased with the patient care, timely appointment, and cleanliness of the office. I would recommend Dr. Pinsky to my family and friends.
