Dr. Claire Towning is a graduate of Bishop Rosecrans High School in Zanesville, Ohio. While in high school, Dr. Claire worked for her father at East Ohio Oral and & Maxillofacial Surgery. This experience helped her gain an appreciation and love for oral surgery. After high school she attended The Ohio State University where she studied Microbiology. She was accepted into dental school at The Ohio State University a year early and graduated Magna Cum Laude at the College of Dentistry in June of 2012. She then continued her training at Ohio State University after being accepted in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program. After completing the four year residency program, she received her certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in June of 2016. She then joined her father, Dr. Larry Towning, in private practice.
