Lauren Decker was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She grew up with three sisters and attended Jenks schools from kindergarten through high school. After high school, she attended the University of Oklahoma for undergraduate and for dental school. She was in private practice in Wichita, KS for a few years before deciding to move back to Oklahoma and purchase Dr. Laveletts practice!
Dr. Decker convinced her husband, Shawn, to move to Oklahoma with her. Despite having gone to Clemson for college, Shawn is embracing life in Norman! He is an officer in the US Air Force and they are just got married in April.
