Dr. Adam B. Highberger is one of three dentists at East Market Family Dental. His father, Dr. Bruce C. Highberger, started the practice in 1980. Dr. Adam went to Penn State University for his bachelor's degree, where we also competed on the Men's Basketball team for four years. He completed his dental training at West Virginia University, where he graduated at the top of his class. While in dental school, he met his wife and fellow dentist, Dr. Christina M. Highberger. Following graduation, Dr. Adam completed a one-year residency at the VA Dental Clinic in Pittsburgh, where he received additional training with extractions, implants, root canals, dentures and other aspects of general dentistry. He was also trained on new dental technology and is excited to bring the experience back to serve his patients.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, and is actively continuing his dental education to stay current with techniques and materials. In his spare time, Dr. Adam enjoys the outdoors (hunting, fishing, camping), playing golf, and spending time with his wife, twin boys, Weston and Greyson, and daughter Arie (pictured above). Dr. Marco L. Pilotta is one of three dentists at East Market Family Dental and the newest member of the team! Dr. Marco went to the University of Pittsburgh for his undergraduate bachelor degree in Neuroscience. While in undergrad, he performed worldwide with a renowned choir known as the Heinz Chapel Choir. Dr. Marco stayed at the University of Pittsburgh for 4 more years and completed his dental DMD degree at the School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Pilotta completed an intensive General Practice Residency program at the VA Medical Center where he received additional training in the area of root canals, implant therapy, dentures, extractions and periodontal procedures.He is a member of both the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, and devotes many hours to continuing education to expand the services he offers to his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Marco really enjoys golfing and is an avid runner. He also enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Rebecca, and their two cats. Originally from Bethel Park, PA, Dr. Marco is ready for a new adventure and is excited for the opportunity to meet new people and help out the community of Blairsville and surrounding areas with their dental needs! He is currently accepting new patients, and looks forward to meeting you!
Dr. Christina M. Highberger is one of three dentists at East Market Family Dental. She completed her undergraduate studies at West Virginia University. Based on academic merit, Dr. Christina was admitted into dental school at WVU one year early and graduated with honors. Dr. Christina met her husband and fellow dentist Dr. Adam Highberger while in dental school. She worked under the mentorship of her father-in-law, Dr. Bruce C. Highberger, following dental school and is excited to serve the patient base in Indiana and Westmoreland counties. Dr. Christina loves to work with children and apprehensive patients to deliver great dental care in a caring and efficient manner.
She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistryand is very active in continuing education courses to keep her dental skillset current with new techniques and materials. Born and raised in Huntington, WV, Dr. Christina enjoys spending time with family - husband, twin boys, Weston and Greyson, and daughter Arie - and friends, exercising, and being outdoors. A graduate of WCCC and Kaplan University, Jodie loves making your dental experience as smooth as possible administratively. Outside of work, Jodie enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking delicious meals, and volunteering for her church and local animal shelter.

Angie is one of the Registered Dental Hygienists at EMFD, receiving her Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene from WCCC in 2012. As a hygienist, she prides herself on meeting patient's needs and concerns in a thorough, yet gentle manner. She is licensed to administer local anesthesia, and is committed to ensuring patient's ultimate comfort providing effecting numbing with a gentle touch.
Angie and her husband, Chris, reside in Blairsville. Originally from the state of Indiana, Angie grew up in Greensburg from a young age. One of five children, family has always been the most important thing to her. She enjoys visiting siblings who are spread out over the country, especially her parents who now live in Arizona. In her spare time, Angie loves to play piano and listen to all types of music. She enjoys spending time with her husband and looks forward to starting a family of her own soon.
Kate is one of our Expanded Duties Dental Assistants (EFDA) at East Market Family Dental. As an EFDA, Kate completed an advanced program that gave her ample training to expand her role as a dental assistant, including fabricating temporary crowns, placing and polishing dental fillings, as well as many other advanced tasks. She loves working with patients to try to make their dental experience as stress free as possible.

Dr. Dan Stoner is a fourth-generation dentist and the seventh member of his family to become a dentist. He earned a BS in Safety Science at IUP and a master's in public management at Carnegie Mellon University. He completed his dental studies at Temple, earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, he served as Third District Trustee of the American Student Dental Association. In addition to many continuing education courses, he has completed numerous courses with dental implants in Nevada and Florida, receiving a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He strongly believes in lifelong learning to assure his patients receive the best materials, techniques and technology. Dr. Dan is passionate about providing comfortable, quality dental care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Dan is a member of numerous dental organizations, including the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He and his wife, Erin, have two daughters, Jenna and Augustine. They enjoy outdoor activities together and spending time with their daughters, particularly with their involvement in swimming, dance, gymnastics and music.

She is a graduate of West Virginia University and lives locally in Indiana with her boyfriend, Brett, and her daughter, Halle. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, spending time outdoors and crafting in her spare time.
Krista wears many hats in our practice, helping with patient communication, insurance coordination and many other administrative duties of the office. She has worked in the dental field for over 19 years. She has worked as an office manager for 17 years and practice coordinator for over 2 years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her kids, Laney and Grant, and her husband, Mike. She also enjoys camping, riding side by sides and being with her friends. Lacey is one of our talented dental hygienists at East Market Family Dental. She received her training at Westmoreland County Community College. She has been in practice for many years and is very skillful and gentle while doing cleanings for our patients.
