Dr. Thibault has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontics for decades! He earned his undergraduate degree from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts before earning his dental degree and completing his specialized post-graduate training in orthodontics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Thibault is proud to be a member of the Connecticut State Dental Association's Council on Continuing Education, on which he has served for nearly 30 years. This group of dedicated professionals assembles a series of educational seminars and meetings for the dentists of Connecticut that has been acclaimed by many to be one of the best in the country.
Because of Dr. Thibault's commitment to constantly update his skills and expertise, he regularly attends continuing education courses that focus on orthodontics, as well as other disciplines that relate to his practice.
Recently, Dr. Thibault was awarded a Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honor society for dentists. It recognized him for his contributions to organized dentistry and his community.
Dr. Thibault was named one of Connecticuts top Orthodontists by Connecticut Magazine for 2011. This honor is given to dentists by their peers, who select the orthodontist to whom they would send their own family and friends.
He also enjoys giving back to his community by participating in the Niantic Rotary Club. He has been honored three times by his club with the Paul Harris Award in recognition of his contributions to the local community and the world community. Dr. Thibault has served as the President of the Niantic Rotary Club twice and has chaired numerous committees and has occupied all of the offices of the club over the last thirty-some-odd years.

Our family loves Dr Thibault and his office staff. They are so kind and understanding about mishaps in scheduling or anything. Dr Thibault is also funny and makes the kids feel comfortable. I highly recommend him!

They are just an all around great orthodontist office... the doctor is wonderfully engaged and well skilled... the staff is very welcoming and caring... we enjoy going to each visit and I would recommend them and have recommended them to anyone looking for caring, professional, quality orthodontic care

My family has been using East Lyme Orthodontics for the last 7 years and we can't say enough about our experience with them. They are a caring and professional team to work with and have worked with us to come up with the best treatment plan for our children. My wife and I are very pleased with Dr. Thibault and his staff. Dr. Thibault is professional and his staff is very courteous. Our kids have had great results and their smiles are beautiful. Dr. Thibault was always available to answer questions and address our concerns. He was always willing to see the kids immediately when issues arose. He worked with us by offering flexible payment options. He is an honest orthodontist who does what you need done without adding in unnecessary and expensive procedures. We have used Dr. Thibault for several of our children's orthodontic needs and have been thoroughly satisfied with the professional, personal, courteous and compassionate service we have received from everyone in the office. Scheduling appointments is easy. Dr. Thibault goes above and beyond to study and consult with others in his profession when difficult cases arise as did with one of our children.
