Do you know that a digital x-ray system can reduce a patient's radiation exposure by up to 90% versus traditional films? East Hills Family Dentistry uses digital dental radiograph system to provide better dental care with a more accurate diagnosis. These crisp, clear images appear instantly on the screen and with the magnification capability of the digital x-ray system, we will be able to see details that are undetectable to the unaided eye. Plus, a digital radiograph system eliminates the chemical developing progress, which means zero chemical waste and a greener earth.
All our patients' records, radiographies, and dental medical history files are stored in our digital office management system. With the electronic forms and claim submissions, we greatly reduce the use of paper. This is another way we help to make the earth greener!
The pen-sized camera features a disposable cover to prevent contamination and is completely painless for you! It reaches hard to see areas for patients and transfers the image to the computer screen. The crystal clear image improves diagnoses and allows the dentist to document care for you on a computer screen. A print can easily be made providing dental insurance carriers with verification of treatment. In addition, the intraoral cameras benefit microdental procedures-the magnifying function helping the dentist see details invisible to the naked eye.
Every single operatory at East Hills Family Dentistry is equipped with a chair-side HDTV monitor. Via the HDTV monitor, our dental team can provide more thorough information for patient education with digital radiographs, intra-oral camera images, DVD-based educational videos, or detailed illustrations to better serve you.
To further provide a pleasant visit while at East Hills Family Dentistry, each operatories HDTV entertainment system will be wired with high-speed internet, allowing our patients to select their favorite movie or TV show via the web while enjoying the comfort of our massager/heater-equipped dental chair. If you don't find a movie or show you like here, feel free to bring your favorite DVD for your viewing pleasure during your visit!
Dr. Christine Chang obtained her degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery at UCLA's School of Dentistry where she attended on a Regents Scholarship, graduating with Honors in 2002 Cum Laude, a Dean's Scholar, as well as being the recipient of the OKU National Honory Scholastic Dental Fraternity Award and the American Academy's Orofacial Pain Award.
In 2003, she completed her General Practice Residency at the one of the top programs in California at Veteran's Affair Long Beach Medical Center. Dr. Chang has been practicing in general dentistry and treating patients of all age since 2003.
Her experience and training has allowed her to perform a variety of dental procedures. She enjoys working with and is especially good with children and complex care patients. Dr. Chang is also an active member of the Orange County Dental Association, California Dental Association, as well as the American Dental Association.

I LOVE this office. The staff is wonderful. This isn't a typical "get as many patients through as possible". The staff is small so you get to know them. Dr. Christine will take as much time as need to educate you on hygiene or what procedures she is doing. The staff all remembers details about you like when you're getting married. One day I couldn't make an appointment last minute, not a big deal, just a reschedule. They don't nickel and dime you. Dr. Christine is super gentle as well. I used to hate going to the dentist and refused to go for years. After going to this office, I now actually look forward to it. I look forward to seeing the staff and visiting with Dr. Christine. I drive over 25 miles to the office. Well worth the drive. I recommend this office to anyone that mentions a dentist. I can't say enough good things about them. Thank you team for such a great relationship!

We like the dentists there - this rating is for the front desk staff. They are extremely rude and obnoxious. When I was last there, could hear the person chatting away on the phone loudly - above the noise of the dentists' apparatus and scraping. Also, when we missed an appointment, the front desk person was extremely condescending and cancelled ALL of our family's appointments. Until they get better front desk workers, we are not coming back.

Dr. Chang has been my dentist for almost 20 years. She is amazing, kind and patient. Everyone I recommend to her is extremely happy with the service. I love how clean her office is and all of her staff members are amazing!

We like the dentists there - this rating is for the front desk staff. They are extremely rude and obnoxious. New to area so needed dentist for the family. Dr Chang came highly recommended for her knowledge and technical skills. Staff and great. Caring and friendly. Office is very clean. Dr Chang is very efficient but also very personable. She was very good with my kids as well. Did not feel that she pushed any unneeded treatment. Very pleased with the experience and recommend her highly.
