Dr. McNamara grew up in Coeur dAlene, Idaho where his father and brother currently practice general dentistry. After completing residency in Texas he and his wife decided to return to the Pacific Northwest where they met during dental school at UW. They enjoy the scenery, people, and lifestyle it has to offer.
Dr. McNamara enjoys spending time with his family and friends especially his wife Donna. His free time usually involves outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and golfing in the summer and skiing and snowboarding in the winter. He also enjoys scuba diving when traveling and cooking and reading when spending time at home.
Dr. Baiz was raised in Caracas, Venezuela, but now calls Seattle her home. She earned her DDS degree at Universidad Santa Mara in her hometown in 2006. She completed her AEGD residency and then obtained her Masters and specialty degree in Endodontics at Boston University. Since then, she relocated to the Pacific Northwest, has been practicing first class endodontics, and continues to deepen her knowledge with numerous hours of continuing education. Dr. Baiz is bilingual, being fluent in Spanish. When shes not treating patients, Dr. Baiz enjoys spending time with her family, traveling with her husband and very active toddler, and loves cooking and trying new restaurants.
Kassie is our Patient Care Coordinator, she will make sure to get you into our office at a time that works well for your schedule. Kassie is our go-to for all billing, insurance and scheduling questions. Before Kassie was our Patient Care Coordinator she worked as a Dental Assistant at the University of Washington. When not at work Kassie loves to cook and spend time with her family and friends, and spending time outdoors walking her dog Henry.
Riley is one of our dental assistants. She is a Washington native, growing up in nearby Woodinville and she loves living in the Pacific Northwest. She loves working as a dental assistant because she is able to meet wonderful people and help save their teeth. Riley always makes patients feel relaxed and at ease. In her free time she likes to read, watch movies and spend time with her family and pets.

My dentist sent me here for another opinion after another endodontist said I needed a lot of work done. Dr. MacNamara said I just needed a root canal, so that's what we did. That wasn't anywhere near the truth. It turned out that I had significant infection that was visible on the CT scan that I brought in. Later when I was having all kinds of pain and pressure, he did the hot and cold tests on the tooth which was pointless because he already removed the nerve. He found a bulge in my gums that was very painful and told me that it was just inflammation and it would go away even though it had already been a couple of months. Went back to my original endodontist who had to do a massive cleanout as the infection was all the way up into my sinus cavity. I totally got mansplained and told that the pain I was experiencing wasn't a real problem.

I highly recommend this clinic and dr McNamara! Everyone there is very nice and helpful. I had my root canal done by dr McNamara; he was very informative and walked me through the procedure and what to expect. I was very scared and worried, but seeing the results, I am very happy with my choice of this clinic.

I highly recommend this clinic and dr McNamara! Everyone there is very nice and helpful. I had my root canal done by dr McNamara; he was very informative and walked me through the procedure and what to expect. I was very scared and worried, but seeing the results, I am very happy with my choice of this clinic.

I had a crown break off on the 30th of December. My dentist was out of town and every "emergency" dental place I called wouldn't take new patients or wasn't open because of the holiday. Dr. McNamara not only agreed to see me, but he kept his staff around just to fit me in. He worked quickly and efficiently but I never felt like he was rushing. He and his staff explained every step of the process, were courteous, and very understanding. If i ever have to endure another root canal, I'll be making the drive to Kent!

I have been working as Dr. McNamara's assistant for a couple of years now, I've always known he is very professional, gentle, and efficient but after experiencing it myself, I can say wow he really is the best! I had zero pain and he finished very quickly. Come see us if you need a root canal, you are in great hands.

My experience with doctor McNamara was the most pleasant I could imagine. I was in and out faster than I ever would have thought for a root canal, and had minimal discomfort afterwards. I highly recommend his office to anyone as I have not had a more professional experience at any dental office.

The doctor was very quick and thorough. I had a root canal yesterday and even though he was quick to get into doing the root canal when he was finally in clearing out the infection he was very thorough and took his time. I feel very confident that he did a really good job. The only complaint that I have is that when he gives you the numbing that he does it too quickly and your cheek will be very sore the next day. If he did it's lower there would be less sudden pressure inside your cheek and gum. But he did a very thorough job of numbing me up. And I have a history of being resistant to numbing. I would honestly highly recommend this endodontist.
