Dr. Frank Galtieri graduated from N.Y.U.'s 7 year combined degree program (BA/DDS) in1985. Dr. Galtieri was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental honor society uponhis graduation and received the Academy of General Dentistry Award. After a one yeargeneral practice residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC, he worked in private practice onCentral Park West in Manhattan and for the Children'sAid Society before relocating tothis current location in Englewood, NJ full time in 1992. Dr. Galtieri is a member in goodstanding of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Bergen County Dental Society and TheAcademyofOsseointegration.
Dr. Urquiola received his undergraduate education at Columbia University.After college, heentered New York University College of Dentistry and Graduated in 1991.He then continued hisdental education in a one year general practice residency in Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn,NY.
Dr. Urquiola received his prosthodontic training at Columbia University College of DentalMedicine.He then further sub-specialized in maxillofacial prosthetics in a combined Bronx VA Columbia University residency program.After completing his post-graduate studies, Dr. Urquiolajoined the faculty of Columbia University College of Dental Medicine as a full time assistant Professor.
While still in his post-graduate program Dr. Urquiola published several articles in the Journal ofProsthetic Dentistry, and Quintessence both peer reviewed academic journals.Currently, Dr. Urquiolais on the board of reviewers for the Journal of Prosthodontics, the official journal of the AmericanCollege of Prosthodontists, which promotes the advanced study and practice of prosthodontics,implant, aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry. Dr. Urquiola joined this office in 2003. Dr. Urquiola is fluent in Spanish.
