The worse dentist i have ever seen. I would never want to go back there again. The dentist filled 4 cavities, 1 ended up have to do a root canal, and other 3 are still in pain. I would give 0 statrs.

I have been trying to get my teeth cleaned since April, Excellus doesn't cover care provided by a real dentist. So I scheduled for an appointment, they wouldn't be able to get me in until June. Today they called and cancelled my appointment because their hygenist is having some kind of emergency. Now the only opening available is in September and I feel this is horrible customer service. 5 months of waiting period and I might night even get back in. Nothing stopping them from cancelling again. I was hoping for a local place to get my teeth cleaned, now I have to find another office so I can get some dental service done before it gets worse.

This place constantly runs through different dentists. One dentist did a butchering on one of my front teeth that had a tiny cavity, and the filling got very painfully infected. Instead of trying to treat the infection first, he offered to pull the tooth or do a root canal. This would have ruined my appearance and destroyed my self confidence. I refused treatment here and left in utter shock and anger at their incompetence. Signed up at a new dentist office just two days later, and was giving basic antibiotics. My tooth is healed quickly, and they completely repaired the hack job done on my filling. Never EVER would recommend East Hill Dental. Pictured below is the tooth they wanted to remove without treating the infection first. Appalling service from the secretaries as well.

It is usually a long wait to get an appointment. I had needed a front tooth fixed that they had worked on prior. It took 3 months to get the first appt. for a cleaning and checkup. Once I went in they sent in paperwork to get a crown approval from my insurance. They also said I needed a "deep clean" so they didn't even do the regular cleaning. The deep cleaning was denied bc my insurance couldn't see why I would need more than a regular cleaning from the x-rays. So I am not sure if my insurance was just being difficult or if it really wasn't necessary at all and they just wanted to try and get a more expensive procedure approved. They were not allowed to schedule an appt until they had the approval so I couldn't make a tentative appointment while they waited to hear from insurance about the crown. So after 3 weeks of waiting on my insurance it was approved. Called to make appt and it was 2 or 3 months away. My appt was for 1:00 PM. I arrived in the office at exactly 1:10 PM. They told me there was a 10 minute window and I was too late. I am not sure how a 10 minute window does not include 10 minutes. I have sat in that waiting room for over 20 minutes before waiting to be seen. I was in tears because I drove from my work in Syracuse and I had waited all those months to get this procedure done so I could actually smile again but that didn't matter to them. Not too mention I don't think there is a sign stating there is a "10 minute window"--or really a 9 minute window. My other issue is every time I have gone there in the past 3 years there are always different dentists and hygienists. I am not sure why there is so much turnover but that makes me nervous. I will be finding a new place to go and would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

Ashley the hygienist is a wonderful person with the patience of a saint. She works wonderfully with my child who actually looks forward to going to see her.

Office staff all were very pleasant, and dental assistants as well as the doctor were very friendly and attentive. All in all a very good experience

High dentist turnover so dont expect to see the same one twice. They don't always seem to know what they're doing either. I scheduled an appointment to have a loose bridge re-cemented only to find out when i got there that they didnt do bridge work. Sketchy place.

I was one of 3 people in there to be seen and it took FOREVER. My appointment was at 11:30AM and I didn't get called in until 12:10PM. Then sat in the chair until 12:30PM. The office staff seem to dislke their jobs. They're short and rude and seem annoyed with patients. The dental assistant was no better, it seemed as if being there was the absolute last place she wanted to be. The dentist was no better either. Is this place even a dentists office? All they want to do there is write referrals and do cleanings. I'm thinking to myself "What do you do here?" They just seem to want to be a middle man, bill people for an exam and x-rays and push cleanings and can't handle any basic dental issues. Weird place. I won't be returning and I'll advise everyone I know to not go there.

I had to wait 3 months for my first appointment. I haven't been to a dentist in several years. I wanted a cleaning and a check up on a broken wisdom tooth. I requested antibiotics and was simply ignored. The dentist himself was cold and did not address me at all. They would not do even a normal cleaning because they stated I needed 4 separate deep cleanings. Essentially they did nothing. I was seen else where a week later and they took great care of me. I would not recommend this office.
