Dr. Lyle graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1982. He has been practicing dentistry at this location since his graduation. He enjoys traveling, photography, cycling, fitness and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Jean, have two sons.
Dr. David was born and raised in Urbandale, Iowa with his brother Michael. He went on to attend the University of Iowa, where he earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in 2015, before returning to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2019. After graduation, he moved back to his hometown to work alongside his father at East Des Moines Dental. Outside of dentistry, Dr. David enjoys exercise, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. He also loves attending live concerts and events, and following his favorite sports team the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Lanie joined the practice in 1995. She is the office manager but also does some chair-side assisting. She enjoys watching her kids play soccer and softball and traveling with her significant other, Joseph. Lanie has two daughters and one son.
Dzenita graduated from DMACC in 2001. She began her career as a dental assistant in Dr. Lyle's office. Dzenita enjoys cooking, reading, enjoying nature and spending time with family and friends. Dzenita's favorite quote is: In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the Life in your years. She is married with two children.
Brandi graduated from Vatterott College in 2008 and joined Dr. Lyles practice in 2013. Along with being a chair side assistant, Brandi also has multiple front office duties. She likes reading, walking with her kids, being outdoors, watching her daughter dance and spending time with her family. Brandi is married and has two children. Her favorite quote is: Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Dr. Lyle did a great job in extracting one of my chipped infected teeth. He did good at giving me local Anastasia. Ive been going to him for a while, and am thankful for the professional way he has gotten me through alot of dental problems.

You could not ask for a great bunch of skilled people in dentistry than Eastside Dental they can and will take care of all your dental needs Im here for life

My first time here and they are amazing, staff is so understanding and friendly, doctor David Lyle is the best dentist I've been to so far....! I have a fear of the dentist always have but for once I actually felt comfortable and not scared to come back

Every filling I had done by this dentist had to be redone. Don't waste your time going here. Broadlawns is better, which is sad to say.

I have returned after going someplace else! I love dr lyle ive been going to him for years and i dont even know why i stopped! Very personal and love the staff!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lyle for years! I love this place! Nothing but professional staff and Dr.Lyle has been nothing but amazing. I love how he tells it like it is. Brush your teeth. Notice an issue call. Emergency issues call! If you do not go to a dentist for 10 years and expect anything other than a long road and deep cleaning then maybe you should have taken better care of your oral health! I am just leaving the office now. Had a cavity .I was greeted so nice when i got here. Waited 3 min got back and numb. Filling went painless and well. I Will 100% recommend this dentist. Also they take Iowa medicaid medical Insurance.

I'm extremely unhappy with this place first off the nurse didn't know what i was there for i had to remind her that's i was there for a cap then the dentist complained about his colleague doing stuff by the book how his schooling tought him instead of taking short cuts I'd prefer if he did things the right way instead of taking shortcuts with my teeth he didn't even put a good temporary on it it hurts all the time i can't eat on that side or brush or floss it iv gotten temp caps from other dentists before that's worked great I'm over all very displeased with this dentist if it weren't for my insurance making me go there I'd find a new dentist immediately
