Dr. Lauren OHagan is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where she earned an award for Excellence in Restorative Dentistry. She completed a one year general practice residency at Danbury Hospital in CT to expand her skills in general dentistry. In 2018, Lauren was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. She participates in several local study clubs and attends dental courses and conferences including workshops at the Pankey Institute and the Spear Institute.
Dr. Frank Boyar is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He has been practicing in Delray Beach since 1976 and is originally from Massapequa, NY. During his career, Frank has shown commitment to his patients, the community, and professional dental organizations. He has served as the president of both the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association and the South Palm Beach County Dental Association. He had a pivotal role in founding the Caridad Dental Clinic and Project Dentist Care, programs which continue to provide dental care to many people in need.
Gail will be the first person you see when you visit our office. She has worked in the dental field for 30 years. She and her husband, Joe, moved from Rockland County, NY to Boynton Beach in 2000. She has two children and four grandchildren. You can find her at the gym before her day begins at the office.
Laurie received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from Loyola University in New Orleans, LA. She has been working in our office for over 35 years. Of all the responsibilities that she has at work, her favorite is welcoming new patients and returning ones with enthusiasm. When Laurie is not in the office you will find her with family, at the beach, or cooking up a feast.
Mellody was born in Key West, FL and grew up in Delray Beach. She has been practicing Dental Hygiene for over 30 years. Mellody believes the most rewarding part of her job is helping patients achieve their optimum oral health. She has two dogs and she enjoys baking, cooking, gardening, and tennis.
April was born and raised in Florida. She started working as a dental assistant in our office over 30 years ago! She enjoys spending time with family, and she has two children, two cats, and a dog. She enjoys reading and going to concerts.

It was the day before Thanksgiving and my tooth broke...excruciating. I called them, they weren't seeing patients but felt bad for me so told me to come in. Dr O'Hagen examined my tooth and said it needed to be removed. She called a periodontist friend and asked for a big favor. The periodontist saw me immediately and pulled my tooth! Both Dr Boyar and Dr O'Hagen are simply the best.

We had to find new dentist after moving to the area and now couldn't be happier we ended up with Dr. O'Hagan. She was able to place a filling without removing a crown on my tooth, which another dentist didn't even attempt to do. Also, she restored the beauty of my smile without resorting to veneers, which other dentists were naming as my only option. Their office is very clean and well organized. No waiting, no hassle. Thank you very much for your work!

This is a wonderful place to go for dental work! Everyone is kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They provide excellent care and will not recommend anything unnecessary. I was very much to find East Delray Dental through a friend. If you need a great dental practice, this is where you should go!

Dr. O'Hagen is a truly gifted dentist who is knowledgeable in the latest techniques and has the eye of an artist in performing her wonders on the appearance of my teeth. I do not make many recommendations but this is one I make with absolutely no reservations.

The office is a collection of exceptional individuals. They are all lovely people who are experts i their fields. I received excellent care and highly recommend the practice. Dr. O'Hagen is gentle, knowledgeable and truly a gift. This office and staff take the "pain" out of a dental visit. Having lived in numerous states I can attest that the comparison between this office and others is extremely significant. Laurie is extraordinarily skilled and always does an exceptional job. The obvious camaraderie and friendships in the office make the environment very pleasant to visit. If you are looking for a an excellent dentist and the best of care you will find it here.

Dr Boyar is the best Dentist in Delray Beach. I have been going to him for about 15 years and he is the most knowledgeable and honest Dentist I have ever been to. Even if you do not live in Delray Beach, it is well worth the trip. I highly recommend Dr. Boyar.
