The staff there is so awesome. Latisha and Darien really made me feel comfortable with helping me schedule my kids and client's appointments.I definitely would recommend this dental office with anyone who would need any great dental work done!

Today I went to East Charlotte dental to pick up a set of top partials, and my experience was absolutely amazing! The staff is genuinely friendly the entire staff makes you feel welcome and make you feel relaxed, and I have created such a special bond with every last one of them.

I can never understand why a dentist just leave after working on your teeth without acknowledging you or saying "Have a nice day". This was my experience and I would not be returning.

Let me start by saying this is the most unprofessional, bootleg, rant down dentist in Charlotte if you wanna become a dentist but don't wanna go to school come here . They might as well take walk ins because you going to be sitting and waiting even if you make a appointment I had a appointment a day ago at 9 am and I didn't leave until 11am . Their so unorganized always running around like chickens with they heads cut off doing absolutely nothing . Their just unprofessional and this was my last time coming to this quack dentist !

The communication is horrible! I scheduled an appointment for my son in my absence. A family member took off work to bring him and office refused service stating "The parent had to be present." This would have been nice to know during the appointment scheduling phase. Fast forward until today. I drove up from Raleigh this morning to bring my son and the appointment was scheduled for 1:00 and it is almost 2:00 (closing time) and we are still in the waiting area. It appears that they are overbooking. My time is important, not to mention, I drove almost 3 hours for the appointment. The least they could do is be professional and on time. THIS IS WILL BE OUR LAST APPOINTMENT HERE. If you need a dentist, look elsewhere.

They don't act professional. It take forever to be seen or even get an appointment. I can't stand that place. Waiting on a referral now!

I waited in the exam room for an hour and 15 minutes, just for the dentist to take a 30 second look in my mouth. But if you're late, you have to reschedule

Dr. Byrd is the absolute best. She had double the trouble with my 18 month old twins who were visiting the dentist for the first time and she was amazing with them. She helped me feel informed as a parent and modeled for me how I needed to continue to care for my kids' teeth. It does not get any better than Dr. Byrd so definitely go check her out.

We had an awesome experience with Doctor Byrd. She informed us of everything she would do. Highly recommend her.

I highly recommend going elsewhere if possible. Like other reviewers mentioned, wait times are crazy. I've been multiple times trying to give them the opportunity to redeem themselves but each time was a little bit worse. Today I was called back 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time but I decided to leave anyway. Go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, we did not see the review from another parent further down the thread before we took our 1-year-old and 2-year-old for their first visits to the dentist. We arrived on time and ready to introduce them to the process and provide a positive first experience for them. When it was time for them to go back, an assistant came out and asked, "Do you have any questions about the baby?" and reached to take her. When I stood up to carry her back to the back, and my partner took our other child's hand to walk back, the lady informed us that they do not allow parents of small children to accompany them. At first, we thought surely she meant that only one parent could go. But no, they wanted to take two babies to the back alone. The assistant said they should have informed us of the policy before we arrived. This is not a common or safe practice for a medical establishment to follow, and we chose to leave immediately. The other adults in the waiting room were shocked to hear the policy, as well, because of how young our children are. For us to have let them go back alone would have been neglect on our part and is certainly negligent on the practice's part. I do not recommend this practice, and I strongly suggest that parents seek out a different provider and avoid this one.

I had a tooth extraction and Dr.Chokshi was there to walk me through it. He was very careful and I felt no pain whatsoever when he began to remove my infected tooth. I know it may sound shocking, but thanks to Dr.Chokshi, I actually enjoyed my time at the dentist!
