I am extremely satisfied with the dentists and dentistry. With that said, if you are a parent and you are waiting on your child, heed my words and BRING A BOOK. There is no cell service. There is no access to wifi. There is no radio playing. There are no magazines. There are a couple of televisions that are turned off. There is absolutely NOTHING TO DO. If you have to sit in that waiting room for hours, it is like being in solitary confinement. I left with a headache from me talking to myself for multiple hours to pass the time. Anyway, minus 1 star for having the worst waiting room in existence. By the way, if you have very small children, there is a waiting area for them to do nothing as well (see pic).

Sad this were people can't pay 4 a teeth care come here and they do not call apt. And then kick u out. And they do not think of single moms or dads that do not got child care and always have there kids but u can't bring kids with u. Sad place of bz

I wanted to improve my smile. My dentist suggested I get 10 veneers at a cost of $10,000. The ECU School of dentistry suggested orthodontics. They are working with an orthodontist and will whiten my teeth and add bonding to an immature tooth to give me a better smile after my orthodontic treatment is complete. My teeth did not need to be filed down or have veneers. I couldn't be happier with my dental work. The office staff and professional hygienists and dentists are great. Best dental care I have ever had.

I've been going there for years and only been treated wonderfully. The front desk staff is efficient and to the point; a businesslike attutude. Some might think it rude. I couldn't afford to do the dental work that my mouth needed without this school. The students couldn't get through there doctoral training without this school.

I am writing this to inform people just how great the ECU dental clinic is. I spent many years, myself, in the dental field. As a result, I am very critical. The staff, the entire staff, are just wonderful. They are professional and caring. I have been dealing with a childhood accident for several decades. Finally I was referred to them. They treated me without judgement or criticism, which I feel is important because sometimes life gets in the way. Every step of my care was evaluated and re-evaluated. They fitted me with a lower partial which fits just perfect in spite if a few complications. Aside from the excellent care provided to me personally, they are very focused on helping veterans. The VA DOES NOT provide dental care to Veterans unless its service related. These folks really care about dental health for Veterans and go above and beyond to provide for them....Kudos to everyone involved with this clinic..

Well.... It's 50/50. The hygienists are great! The front desk and billing.. Great! The students.. They're doing a great job! I don't see the same DENTIST Every time at the end.. But one dentist.. Poor bedside manner but hey.. Good dentistry right? Nope. I've been in for my canine 3x because it hurts when cold hits.. They've fixed that tooth TWICE on the backside. Lol. Sensitivity is in the front. Lol. They want to pull out a crown/root canal says it's more important. It doesn't bother me.. But if they see something.. Sure I'll do it.. Pull out a tooth.. Lol. But after my mom had two top teeth pulled, four bottoms for implants (Oh.. She's been seeing them for 9 years).. My mom STILL has no teeth! Pull my canine up front? No thank u!!

My husband is a vet and went to the stand down 2 weeks ago in franklin we sat there almost 2 hrs and was told they would cover all costs of the repair of his upper denture and then would make impressions for a new set. Well last week they called and cancelled his appointment and made for a later date.said he would need 1000. To 2000. For his visit when he came in. He said what happen to no cost? Lady said they were out of funds. What a joke this whole fiasco was. Never would I recommend this place to anyone! They can't even give you a straight answer, nice way to care for a veteran. Why go to the vets stand down and offer care if you have no intention of helping, just to drum up clients. If I could give less then 1 star I would. They wouldn't even see him today as his dentures broke in half!
