Stephen J. Jarvie holds an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and a doctoral degree in dentistry from the University of Michigan. He is affiliated with the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Oakland Country Dental Society.
Dr. Jarvie resides locally and is active in community affairs, such as Northville Civic Concern. This service helps local individuals and families in a variety of ways. Since 1995 Dr. Jarvie has been active in Donated Dental Services a national program that delivers dental care to the physically handicapped. Dr. Jarvie devotes many hours annually to continuing education so that a high level of skill and knowledge may be offered to his patients. In addition, he also donates time to the Walled Lake School District.
Dr. Mark Isler graduated from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 2005. Participating in the accelerated six year inteflex program he received a Bachelor's of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After practicing in Dearborn, Michigan he returned to the University of Detroit School of Dentistry where he entered their Graduate Periodontal Residency program. Upon completion he achieved his Master's of Science degree in Periodontics and became board certified by the State of Michigan. Dr. Isler has been published in the Practical Procedures in Aesthetic Dentistry peer-reviewed journal for his clinical work. In addition he has completed training and certification in advanced anesthesia and conscious sedation.
Dr. Isler makes educating his patients a top priority. By sharing his knowledge and expertise his patients are better able to choose the treatment thats best for them. Dr. Islers patients enjoy his gentle touch, and treatment in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
Dr. Ivana Thornton is a graduate of Federal University of Bahia - School of Dentistry class of 2000. She completed the Internationally Trained Dentist Program at the University of Michigan in 2017 to re-certify her Brazilian DDS degree.
She believes that professional excellence is achieved through a long standing learning and practice. Her extensive dental education includes a Masters and teaching. The years of practice allowed her to get people out of pain, improve their oral health and create beautiful smiles. She strives to deliver gentle and painless dental care while developing relationship with her patients.
Michigan became her home after marrying a Ford engineer working in Brazil. Family is her cornerstone and her favorite thing is spending time with her husband and young daughter. In her spare time, she also enjoys traveling, biking, Pilates, and scuba diving.

first examination and cleaning here, and the moment you walk in the staff greets you with warm smiles and great energy (: and the hygienist that worked on me (Cathy) that worked on me was witty and really sweet, it didn't feel like a dental visit, honestly felt like a relaxing time (with the bonus of a healthy mouth). but every single person there is very sweet and always look forward to whoever walks thru their doors!

very very poor billing habits. i am billed before Delta insurance has cleared the cost. Resulting in overbilling. I was again charged One thing at check out and Delta cost not a Match more funds again seem to be pending.

Don't get me wrong, Dr. Jarvie is phenomenal at his job. His staff, however, are truthfully awful. You can tell they have that Novi "better than you attitude". Elderly Dental assistant who cant keep up the the technology used in the facility, literally had ME, a patient, trying to figure out how to get her xray machine, and computer program to work. Front desk lady was nice, until my daughter got COVID, and I had to cancel my appointment. Oh, but the kicker? They have a 24 hour cancellation notice, which would be fine, but they only send that appointment reminder out once you are within 24 hours, so they can charge you a nice fee. Once you point out how silly that is, they will send you a letter of dismissal, because Karen can never be wrong :) Good luck at your practice Dr. Jarvie, your staff will ruin you!

I've been a patient of Dr.Stephen Jarvie, my dentist, who has his practice in Novi. I began taking my family to him in 1998. He and his staff are efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. The office is very clean which is important especially in this day when so many are concerned about hygiene. I trust him to give me an accurate and honest diagnosis.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr Jarvis is compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. He explained to me about the botox treatment for tmj and he also mentioned t they have physical therapy as a follow-up to help with trimus and clenching.

Staff is always so friendly, from the front desk to the hygienist to the doctor. I never wait more than 5 minutes of my appointment. This is only my second year as a patient at East Brooke Dental and I would highly recommend them for your dental care.

When I moved to Michigan I started going to Dr. Jarvie. He was great but he was in a practice with someone who was more about the money than the medicine. When my company changed insurance carriers, the partner said they wouldn't take my new insurance. I would be charged some inflated price. I had to walk. A couple of years later, my wife was having some real dental problems. I told her she should look up Dr. Jarvie. She did, thought he was great, and told me he had moved into his own practice, and would take our insurance. Of course I switched back. That was about 6 years ago. If you want the feeling of a neighborhood shop loaded with really talented Healthcare professionals, give Easy Brooke Dental a try.
