Dr. Shilpa Khatavkar, DDS has been working with us at East Bay Dental for over seven years. Her 10 years of dental experience has helped her sharpen her skills in most facets of dentistry. Dr. Shilpa is extremely friendly and patient and specializes in working with kids, pediatric dentistry. In this era of constant changes in dental technology, she likes to keep herself abreast with with the latest innovations in the dental field. She constantly updates her skills and knowledge with thorough training.
Dr. Abida Cheema, DDS, MSc (Periodontology UK) brings 20 years of experience in the field of Periodontics to our clinic. She has been with us for more than 8 years. She served as a part time faculty member in the department of periodontology at Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry, San Francisco for over 10 years. Dr Cheema is a member of the Pacific Alumni Association. She continuously updates her knowledge in the field of periodontology to educate her students and treat her patients.
One of my office colleague recommended me to Dr. Kamlesh. He is great doctor went in detail with all the dental procedure to be done in my case after thorough checkup . Dr K is very considerate and explained everything patiently. I highly recommend him for any dental needs .
Excellent service, good doctors, fully satisfied with treatment and care. Recent visit was attended by Dr Sonia, she took good care of us ,my granddaughters and son were equally happy with the treatment. Staff are friendly and are professional. We highly recommend them.
I had a great experience and my whole family goes here the staff is great and I enjoy that they are bilingual because they help out my mom with her dental work and the fact that the staff also speaks Spanish it great for her.
We have Dr. Jinjuwadia as our Dentist since Dr. has started his practice. We had and are having good experience with him and his staff. Dr. Jinjuwadia is an experienced, very calm, and knowledgeable Doctor. His office has friendly office staff. With all that we are happy to visit and continue using his practice.

I had scheduled a simple teeth cleaning appointment, but when I arrived for my appointment, they required me to sign a consent form so that they could take dental X-rays. Since it's not required, I refused and requested that only the teeth cleaning for which I had made an appointment be done. I had later offered to share my X-rays(on phone), which were taken a year ago, but they refused because they take X-rays of all new patients. They canceled my appointment because they couldn't make money since I refused to have X-rays. Since these X-rays are only covered by insurance once every five years and I just had my X-rays done a year ago, I would have had to pay out of pocket. Doctor, you wasted both my and your time. Tell your executives to clearly communicating patients about the "necessary dental X-ray" even if they only schedule a cleaning appointment. It would've been much easier if they had mentioned X-rays when I made the appointment.

I was a first time patient here, and Dr.Jay, Dr. Shilpa and her staff were very friendly and patient. They all take the time to make you feel comfortable and listen to your needs and concerns. Definitely the best (dentist) office I've ever been to. All paperwork is completed online before your appointment; so you can go directly to your appointment once you check in. Makes timing more efficient. The office is clean and follows covid safety guidelines, which made me feel very comfortable. Especially the Insurance Manager - Maria was so helpful on my insurance benefits and planning for my schedule Thank you, Dr. Shilpa, Dr.Jay , Maria and all East Bay Detal Staff! The vibe here is exceptional and I really appreciate it.

I have been to East Bay 3 times, and every time it has been a good experience. The doctors are quite good, they explain everything and are very detailed and methodical. The supporting staff team (especially Swati) are also quite diligent, and have good attention to detail. Overall Great!

This dentistry is good for regular check dental checkups or cleaning but complicated prolonged treatment like dental implants for front teeth(no 7-10) will not be taken care properly. they don't have facility in house to make temporary dentures or artificial teeth so in between gaps of implant treatment . I had to stay with ugly smile for few months.

One of the best dental offices. I have been Dr Jinjuwadia's & Dr Shilpa's patient for close to twenty years. Always accommodating, the staff is superb, exceptionally friendly. I cannot remember if I ever had any issue and the reason is that I never had an issue. The dentists here are highly professional and very very friendly. All of East Bay Dental's patients will attest that this is indeed the place for, well, all things dental ! Keep up the good work. Super namaste

I went last friday to get my caviries done and i thought they were going to hurt but in the process it didnt hurt at all theh did a great job on my teeths and they were polyte its a great dentist good service.

This place is awesome, especially for kids. They have personal tvs for each patient while they have dental work done. My son didn't even notice the dentist took care of 2 cavities! They even provided us next day service and worked within our insurance limits so we had no out of pocket expenses! I highly recommend this place to anyone who fears the dentist or has children. Their friendly staff is sure to please.
