I'm giving 2 stars because the first time I came here they were able to work me in at the last minute and the entire staff is very nice. My problem is I took a day off for my appointment and was never treated because I was given the incorrect amount for the cost of treatment. When the preregistration specialist verified my insurance she stated it was covered at 50%. I told her that doesn't sound right and I thought my insurance would pay more but she insisted that it was correct. I chose to reschedule the appointment because the out of pocket was too high and I had a gut feeling the amount was incorrect. I immediately called my insurance company and talked with 2 representatives who told me it was covered at 90%. One of representatives also placed me on hold and called the office on her other line to get the code to be absolutely sure. The representative told me that she advised them that the code is covered at 90% and they told her the system is saying 50%. When I called the office back the lady told me she just talked with my insurance company and my responsibility is still 50% so I cancelled my appointment. I ended up making an appointment with another practice and when they verified the insurance it shows covered at 90%. My advice to East Atlanta Family Dental is if the payor (insurance company) tells you something is covered at a higher amount don't tell the patient to pay more than what they are responsible for. It's not a good look for your practice.

I am beyond impressed by this dental practice! Dr. Ahmadi is incredibly professional, communicative, and careful in his approach. Another dentist told me I needed a crown on one of my teeth that was supposedly "cracked". I came to East ATL Family Dental expecting an involved crown procedure (2 to 3 visits). Instead, Dr. Ahmadi assessed, x-rayed, and even consulted with his colleague Dr. M, and I got a straight-forward filling instead of a crown! He was so comprehensive in informing me about what has happened with my tooth (complete with photos on the screen), how my insurance would deny a crown as the tooth was still in good health, and how a filling was the right solution given my current situation. I saved money and insurance hassle with Dr. Ahmadi's practical and honest approach. He and his staff were so swift and professional from filling procedure through checkout. I would recommend this practice to anyone and everyone!! What a breath of fresh air.

You walk in and you immediately know you're around people who know how to do their jobs. I felt like I understood everything that was going on, the purpose of it, and the plan moving forward. Really glad they take my insurance and are so close to where I live.

I'm tempted to say 'don't go here' so it's easier for me to book an appointment. Go here. The staff is friendly, but will tell you exactly what you need to hear to get your mouth in order. They work to save you money and my mouth is better than it's been in years. Go here.

I recently returned to Atlanta after living away for 6 years. I knew I wanted East Atlanta Dental to be my dentist office even though I now live further away. They are thorough and kind at all levels of service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to establish service. Also, I love that they take a moment during your visit to just talk with you about non-dental things. That moment of humanity is one of my favorite things about this place.

I usually don't say this about a Dental office - but "I love this place". I have been here now 4 times and every single time I am treated so well. Its difficult to get an appointment at times but the office team will work with you sending you a text message of an opening as soon as possible. Every team member from the Dentist to the rest of the team are amazing and do a really AMAZING job. I highly recommend this professional team.

I've visited East Atlanta Family Dental three times in the past year and the experience is consistently positive from start to finish. From the front desk to checking out they are very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with my insurance during my last visit and they went above and beyond to work through it. Very glad they're in the neighborhood!

I came here after a previous bad experience. I have a small jaw, and I've had trouble with dentist that could do a good filling and really care that the bite is just right afterwords. I've been able to get worked back in quickly when the filling didn't feel right. This is definitely one of my best dental experiences.

I've had a wonderful experience here. I was referred by my neighbor and absolutely love it. I've had to get two fillings since my initial cleaning appt and my dentist, Dr H is so thorough and particular. I love it! I didn't have any gum pain after the first filling and the filling was on the gum line! He made sure that my teeth didn't change in width with the fillings so that my smile direct aligners would still fit. He's such a perfectionist in the best way. My second filling this week was super quick and easy too with no change to my bite. I totally trust him and them and highly recommend!

I absolutely recommend this place. The staff are nice and Drs. Ahmadi and Meshkian are very professional and friendly. The hygienists usually do a meticulous job and the place is very clean. Not to mention the well-positioned monitors that keep you busy.

This is a wonderful family dentistry! The front office staff are friendly and efficient, the medical staff are gentle and friendly, and Dr. Meshkian gets the job done as painlessly as possible. I highly recommend. I only wish they saw kids!

My husband and I recently transferred our dental care to East Atlanta Family Dental and we're so glad we did! Reception and billing are incredibly friendly and helpful and our dentists are caring, smart and evidence-based. They're also happy to discuss every alternative for resolving dental issues and are gratefully aware of how much $$$ dental care can cost - there are no strong arm tactics here AT ALL. And as an added bonus? Plenty of free parking right at the door! Yay!
