As a dental professional, I stay up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for my patients. As a doctor, I recognize that my patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in me and my team. That is just one reason why I value each and every patient relationship.
Dr. Shelly Raichart graduated from CU Boulder with a degree in Molecular, cellular and developmental biology. She obtained her DDS from CU School of Dental Medicine in 1993 and spent the following year in Stony Brook, NY completing a hospital residency. She wanted to be a dentist since the age of 11 and enjoys building relationships with her patients, which allows her to tailor treatment plans to each individuals needs. She remains committed to continuing her education with courses at the Dawson Center, Misch International Implant Institute and is now a graduate of the Kois Center.
Dr. Raichart has lived in Edwards for more than 20 years, enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting and her newest hobby of beekeeping. Married to her husband Patric for 25 years, she has two daughters attending Battle Mountain High School.

I have clean teeth. Got more info on how to better use my Sonicare and why it is better then the Oral B electric brush. Had a very nice visit

I cannot tell you how wonderful this place is! I was visiting on a ski trip and had a porcelain crown crack and fall off. Catherine at the front desk is lovely to work with and was empathetic and so helpful to get me in that morning! Dr. Raichart is a magician - she dove right in and you can tell she's really an expert at dental artistry. She was able to repair it in a way that you can't even see that it was broken and it will last until my dentist at home can get me fitted for a new one. They filed with my insurance and their co-pay was incredibly reasonable. Plus, Doctor and team are all so nice! It was such a shockingly awesome experience, that I wish I could fly out here to have her as my full time dentist. Thank you!

Dr. Reichart has a team of experienced, and amazing dental professionals in her office!! I am the worst of her patients.. being a cancer survivor that took an insane amount of radiation to the jaw/face/neck area due to a tumor residing in my sinus cavities as well as being a Type 1 diabetic( result of Chemotherapy) Extensive work is an understatement of the care I need and have been provided at an astounding level. Be it an emergency root canal on a Saturday during a pandemic or just a cavity on the go.. EAGLE RIVER DENTISTRY!! Only place to get fixed up!!! That's on the real people!! Xavier Kessler .... best believe that!!

I have high dental anxiety and a low dental pain tolerance, which is a nightmare for someone with my dental issues. Dr. Raichart truly cares about her patients and listens to their concerns. She ensures her patients are comfortable during procedures, that the treatment is done correctly and is affordable. She only recommends what is necessary and without pressure. I have had 2 crowns, a root canal and several fillings and have left every appointment numb, but smiling. I trust Dr. Raichart and the staff of Eagle River Dentistry so much that I am willing to drive 2 hours from Denver to Edwards for her team's excellent patient care and quality, long lasting dental work. I can honestly say that since finding Eagle River Dentistry, anytime I have to go to "the dentist", I do not get anxiety. If you are looking for a professional and caring dentist, definitely allow Dr. Raichart and her team to be your go-to for your dental needs.

I was from out of town on a 5 day ski trip, had what I was afraid a major issue with a tooth. First Dr Shellys staff worked with me to get me in as quick as possible (accommodate so I wouldn't miss any skiing) and then Dr Shelly took over to make the rest of my trip enjoyable. Thanks for all your help, if I lived here this is the dentist I would use. Highly recommend.

Always a positive experience visiting Eagle River Dentistry wether for just a cleaning or full exam. The team is clearly a team and will do everything to accommodate their patients. Dr. Raichart and her superb staff deliver comprehensive care in a very cost effective and compassionate manner. You never have to worry about being pressured into doing marginal or unnecessary procedures. I find their emphasis on preventive care to be a refreshing difference from most of the other dental practices I've encountered over the years. I've recommended them to many of my friends and will continue to do so.
